0 Big Papa
There are many drugs that are NOT on the formulary because the VA has classified them as non-formulary (Non-formulary drugs means the drugs that are not included in the list of preferred medications that a committee of pharmacists and doctors deems to be the safest, most effective and most economical. They are drugs not included in the drug list approved by the health care plans.) but they are available IF the doctor request and gives the "reason" and if the pharmacy agrees then that's it. However if the pharmacy does deny you can appeal. That being said not ALL VA Pharmacy's carry ALL non-formulary drugs so it'll be up to your doc, availability and the pharmacy. I buy a new splitter every couple months, pretty cheap. Must be pretty accurate on the V, never had to go to the Emergency Room with a 4+ hr erection problem. I am so far gone that a full pill does not do the job let alone 4 hours. Those days are long gone.
0 Gastone
Switched back to Viagra as their VA ED RX formulary back in 13 or 14. If one gives use a problem, Secure Msg your VA PCP, they'd let you take a run at the Cialis. You never got more than, as I recall (2) large Pills that needed to be split. PCP could refer you to the VMC Urologist to address trying the Vac Pump or Suppository you use for the private Insertion that worked but seems to lite you and your friend/wife on a bit of a burn sensation. Remember, if it last past the 2/4 hrs, you THE MAN! The VA has decided that you only need to get your ashes hauled 4 times per month. broncovet
0 HadIt.com Elder Buck52 Posted September 15, 2018 HadIt.com Elder Share Posted September 15, 2018 (edited) They won't prescribe Cialis if your on certain med's med's for swollen prostate & Certain MH Meds (ptsd/depression) As Gastone mention the pills can be cut in half usually at the 100 mg the pump never work for me , but the injections do but it takes the mood away, b/c you have to the injections 30/20 min before happy hour. The last straw is the injections There are 4 MCG 's of the Alprostadil injections starting at 10 mcg 20 mg 30 mcg and 40 mcg...they start you off with the 10 then work up from there.... and you have to take a penis injection class...With a Female Dr and Male Dr to show how to inject your self..it was he craziest thing I ever saw..about 12 of us were going up and down the hall looking for rest rooms they had us inject our self and no the young female Dr didn't come in she assisted the male Dr in the class room...LOL As Gastone mention this is only good 4 times a month. Gastone, You are completely correct. When Singulair came out, I got it from a private doc and paid a premium for it. My VA PCP had to refer me to the specialist. The specialist then started me on th

You need to remember VA is NOT a "unified body", but many different parts which can interpret regulations in vastly differnt ways. People often say, "what does the VA do in xy circumstance?" T
