W3ell Im going home after 14 days in the crazy house. My Copies of my last C&P's came and my wife broought them to me at the hospital to read. My C&P Physical is beautiful last three sentances say something like will not improve, ability to work poor when I get home I will post exact wording, I have to go read the CFR but me thinks the wording the doc used will get me 100% for PTSD.......................I am hoping my personal war with the VA is finally over and I can move on with my life!

Brother, I hope you get everything you have claimed from the VA, the law says you are entitled to it , then get it if you are entitled to it.

I hope your life gets better, the VA does give out more PTSD than they cure, if you did not have it before the claim started, you will get it before it is over.....should be allowed as a secondary condition, under claims.

Those who disagree with the law, call your rep and gripe at them, to fault anyone or doubt anyone here seeking help is a simplistic minded person.

People here come for help, and they are given help from many who do this out of selflessness.

Never suspect anyone here of anything when all they seek is help, that is not for us to decide, the VA does it enough for everyone who files a claim, some opinions are better kept quiet.

I want to thank those of you who helped to educate me on the problems faced by those in federal civil service. I now understand that those who ore medically retired from those jobs have an offset elsewhere. That is not fair. Of course, that is the same thing that happens if a person is medically retired from the military and draws VA comp. The VA comp is then subtracted from their military retirement. Those who complete 20 years of military service and retire and recive less than 50% compensation also have the full amount subtracted from their retirement (even though they are not medically retired).

Not to attack anyone personally, but people should realize that there are those who are hurt within the first year or two of service in a manner that while technically in the line of duty can be totally unrelated to military service (a car accident for example). It is also possible that someone can go through most of his/her military career and not have anything to claim for a disability until the final few years. It is just my opinion that saying someone who retires after 20 years should not be drawing both disability and retirement based on the fact that they managed to complete 20 years is rediculous.

Finally, a "subsidy for the loss of earnings your disability causes" is indeed meant to "replace income". It replaces the income that is lost because of the disability.

I'm a big bean fan myself. Kind of poor growing up and we could not afford much more
