Varo Responds To My Lost 1151 Claim
Greetings, I contacted the VARO this morning to get clairfication concerning the VA loosing my 1151 claim which took me over 3 weeks to prepare. They agreed my claim once exsisted, however is now gone from all radars. I spoke with the VARO supervisior and was informed they had no idea why my claims for increase was pulled from authorization and put back to developement with my 1151 claim that now does not exist. I was now told that my claim for increase is now back with a rating officer (No one knows why) it is with a ratings officer when it had already been rated. I do not know if this has anything to the meeting I had with VARO Medical Director in which I have …

Need Advice (ro Informed Me That They Now Lost My 1151 Claim)
Greetings, I just talked to my VARO and was informed that my 1151 claim in not in there data base and has been lost. I had a claim with many issues for increase (SMC) that was rated on Feb 02, 2006 and was told it was in authorization and then would go to finance. I filed a 1151 claim on Jan 24, 2006 after our meeting with the VAMC Medical Director. I was told a few days ago that my claim for increase had been pulled and sent back to developement to be joined with my 1151 claim (I have been waiting for 15 months for the rating on the claim for increase). I took Berta's advice and did not withdraw my 1151 claim. I was told by the VARO that I probally would not rec…

What Ya All Think
I filled for migraines, I received a 0% rating for occipital headaches blending with daily neck pain. The 0% was because the VA said I would have to had to have prostrating attacks averaging one in 2 months over last several months. OK, when I filed my claim I sent in documentation from several doctors stating I have headaches, one document from my neurologist stating the headaches were migraines and I was have 1-2 a month. I sent in a journal reflecting almost daily headaches and severe headaches (where I couldn't work and would have to go to bed) 1-2 times a month. My SO resubmitted my documentation with a cover letter requesting my 0% be reconsidered. This is …

Does An "awarded Ph" Help A Va Claim ?
I want to post a hypothetical question ?? Lets say a veteran is already rated over 100% P&T, per schedular and was in heavy combat but was very lucky only slighty injured 2 times and never received their PH(s) .. and all that info. is burried in the SMRs & VAMC & VARO & etc. records. Let's say that in the SMRs, C-File & VAMC medical records (or whatever Soc. Sec. looks at) review/audit by Soc. Sec. (when veteran applied for SS bennies) .. this came to someones attention that 2 PHs (that met PH rules & regs) were never awarded .. but the veteran never pursued the issue before either. Bottom line ... if the veteran does not give a rat's azz…
