Update On My Vaco Complaint
VA Central just called me to say the Phila VA is getting an expedited medical opinion, for my AO IHD SMC accrued claim, and has expedited transfer of my c file which was STILL in Buffalo after IRIS and MS Kostic confirmed last year it was in Philadelphia. I have not heard where my AO claims actually are yet.VACO didnt know for sure. Per the Phila VSM they are in Phila. This claim does not need another VA medical opinion.I told the VACO contact this information was absurd and a waste of time and taxpayer money because the medical evidence they have ( medical opinion from VACO in 1996, Peer Review,1995,med recs, autopsy, etc.confirms my husband's 6 years of malprac…

First Camp Lejeune Award
http://www.jdnews.com/articles/-98429--.html in part; "The 75-year-old Jacksonville resident and former Camp Lejeune Marine has a medley of maladies, many of which he believes can be traced to his exposure to contaminated drinking water during the 13 years he spent on base. This fall, he received confirmation from the Department of Veterans Affairs: A letter mailed in October granted him 100-percent disability for colon cancer, first diagnosed in 1998, and 20 percent for bladder cancer, diagnosed in 2005, citing Lawson’s time aboard Lejeune as connection." The new VA Training Letter on LeJeune is here: This is a BIG victory for veterans exposed to conta…

Over A Year...confused
My case was filed back in September 2010. It involved both legs, heart disease, and now cancer due to AO. It just won't budge from the Development Stage. They have plenty of medical and records evidence. They even sent some of my evidence back to me, asking for more. However, the evidence they were asking for was included in the packet they returned to me. I am scheduled for cancer surgery in January, they have proof of that stage. I have recieved no updated, or at least word that I will be getting the temporary 100% for the cancer/recovery. I keep hitting a wall, and have been told by IRIS that everything they need is there, but no progress. Any suggestions?

Board For Correction Of Military Records Failing Veterans
EDWIN CROSBY: Board for Correction of Military Records Failing Veterans September 29, 2010 posted by Gordon Duff BCMR’S SERIOUSLY FAILING THEIR MANDATE TO VETERANS DD214 SECRET CODES In fact, attached to this story are four (4) questions which can be submitted to anyone of the BCMR’S. Just change the name from Army to Navy, or to USAF. Send said questions to your U.S. Senator or Congressman at their State office, use CERTIFIED MAIL, no green return receipt needed, do not sent to Washington Offices. Request that the 4 questions be answered as veterans believe the BCMR’S are NOT following Congressional Mandate or Legal Precedent, and you yourself may ha…
