Copy Of C&p Was Not Available.....
I had a C&P exam Monday for mood disorder and thought the exam went quite well. The Doctor told me she would type up the results that day and get it to the VARO as soon as possible. I didn't think twice about this because I thought she would find out that my files were at the AMC and send the report there. I waited until today so as to give plenty of time according to her statement. I didn't really think that it would be handled that fast, but stranger things have happened. I called the FOI office to see if I could pick up a copy of the exam. I was told that the Doctor would not release a copy of the report until she sent it to Winston-Salem(RO) because …

tdiu C&p Next Week
I have another C&P exam next week. It is for DVT currently rated at 0% and Pulmonary Embolism currently rated at 0%. Also still trying to get SC for back which has been injured several times from falling due to SC knees. If I can get the C&P Dr. to state that the back was caused by the knees then I just might be able to get 100% if the DVT and Pulmonary Embolism are increased to 10% each. For this to happen the back would have to be rated at 20%. Any ideas as what I should expect on the back exam? I had a PC appointment and Cardilogy appt. today and they noticed and I hope noted a knot on my forehead and black eye from falling. I got the clearance for another (4t…

C&p Exams Completed
Hello All, I had three (3) C&P exams on June 30th and after my exams were complete the doctor told me I should receive a letter showing the results in a couple weeks. Let's see; June 30th to August 17th. That's about 48 days I think. That's a couple of weeks, isn't it? I was just wondering if anyone could give me a close picture on how long it takes to get the results back from the VA. I was told that one of my claims was sent to the review board but they wouldn't tell me which one it was. I asked my VSO and he said to just sit back and wait. Is that the best advice? Wait????? Jeff

I am seeking an increase for secondary mood disorder. I am currently being treated by VA psychiatrist. On my last visit she entered the following information in her notes: Will the C&P examiner see these notes? The C&P exam and my psychiatrist are located at the same VA hospital that I go to. For anyone that has experienced one, what does this psychological exam consist of? Neurology has approved a fee basis consult to be scheduled with outside specialist fo…

ptsd Received My Claim For Service Connected Disability
I submitted a claim several months ago and had a C&P exam. Issues at hand were knee problem, heart palpitations, skin rash, and PTSD. I recently came off of active duty (National Guard) after deploying to Iraq. After 20 years of service in both active/reserve this is the first time I have claimed any type of disability so I don't think I took it as serious or researched it like I should have. I filled out the online claim form (VA.gov) and that is pretty much it...I sort of thought that they would really do a comprehensive evaluation and find out what was wrong with me...I was wrong. The claim reads as follows: Descision: 1. Service connection for PT…
