hypertension Will I Be Qualified For Iu
I am currently rated 50% overall. 30% knee after replacement 10% back 10% bilateral pes planus and 10% hypertension. I have recently been diagnosed with depression. I took the report to the DAV. The rep feels I will probably get rated at 30% for depression. Now it is critical that I get IU asap because I have been forced to retire from the post office after 21 years due to the fact that there is no light duty and I can't get cleard for full duty after the Knee replacement. I also know that I can no lomgrer do the job, due to pain in my back, feet and knee, also loss of range of motion in my knee. …

Just took a C&P from local chiropractor the VA hired to look me over for my claim. She looked over some of my SC awards, but did not have some to look at. Not sure if I will need to go back or just need to wait for the brown letter. I"M SC 70% now. Tinnitus 10%. Scars, right upper arm and let calf, gun shot wounds 20% Residuals gunshot wound, left leg, damage to muscle group XI, 30% continued. Hello. I am new to this fine forum and I need some help. I was hurt in the forgotten war in 66-67. I lived and worked with my back injury until 02. Then I had to quit. Filed for a rating last year and was awarded 10 for tinnitus and 20 for back. I had a C&P exam by a 100+ YO doc who spent 15 minutes with me. I am 100 SSDI since 06. i am currently rated 90% 50% depression 3o% lt hand 30% rt hand 20 % lt foot 20% rt foot 10% broken clavicle 10% tinnitus i entered the voc re-hab program and am having no luck at all in it. i have not had any income since march to speak of. i am becoming more and more mentaly house bound, as i am becoming too depressed to leave. i think i am on too many meds to be that reliable anyway. is tdiu an option at this point thanks and please pray for our troops

tdiu The 800 Numbers..
Dont know if anyone feels the same but the 800 va numbers are just wasting your time. I am soooo frustrated that I can not get a straight answer as of when my TDIU is going to kick in or even get a awards letter from regional..All they have to say that it is being finalized.. Well you was it not FINALIZED in DC when they granted me TDIU.Its a wonder why the VA is soo backed up the paper work is so redundant it gets me sick...

ptsd Va Hamster Wheel
Question, 1. How long approx. does it take to get a dro interview, once you have submitted your nod? 2. Is severe chronic ptsd, and severe recurrent mdd disorders qualify for tdui? 3. Being unemployed, with applications in for ssdi enough to qualify for tdui? 4. What is P&T, and with ptsd, mdd, gad, and a gaf of 40, sufficient enough to raise eyebrows? Please advise as vso, says wait until review board is finished and am rated for the above mentioned disorders, so far it has been 18 months since submission of the nod.

What do you say? Unemployed? Disabled? Retired? On government assistance? Government aid? Just wondering how to say it without saying it. What's a neutral friendly response? tdiu What Words Infer Iu?
Does unemployability or IU have to be mentioned in a claim to be 'inferred'? Or is a IU rating inferred or considered when the claim ratings for sc conditions flag high enough? Meaning, hope this makes sense, for example, rating increases from 20% to 90%, would IU be considered or inferred due to increase of 60% and 30% sc conditions? When and how would IU be offered by the VA? Would IU be offered by mail after the ratings or is it possible VA would combine IU into the ratings? Mostly I hear veterans recieve IU paperwork after meeting the minimum criteria. From what I understand, IU should be considered or offered if warranted. But even without the paperwork, are speci…

"Entitlement to individual employability is denied because the evidence does not show you are unable to secure or follow a substantially gainful occupation as a result of service-connected disabilities." I guess these guys wanna see how many times they can deny me before I finally give up. Looks like I may have to enlist the help of the DAV this next go-around. Kappa

How To Post

‘Need help preparing PTSD claim’ or “VA med center won’t schedule my surgery” instead of ‘I have a question."
This gives members a starting point to ask clarifying questions like “Can you post the Reasons for Denial of your claim?”
