  1. I Good article. Know wonder VA gave me 100P&T after reading this document, Peripheral Neuropathy was the reason. Still don't understand why it secondary? Thanks Capt. Contaminate
  2. Celia, if you hear anything let me know. I do know that if you do some dental work they should back pay, maybe.
  3. Boomer2, this is so true, the death rate from post Vietnam will be in the 100's thousand veteran to died. Plus Korea troop and list of other places that AO was used. The same thing is happening to the South Vietnamese people. The casualties of WAR
  4. I know a Vietnam Vet. with skin cancer that look very strange. Are very covered for AO?
  5. I'm not a big talker, but a big cryer. Depression I fight every day, some good and some bad. I'm sad for you and proud for you!!!! Stay on line with Hadit, we need surviver like you! God bless
  6. It looks to be a yearly, because Vol 26 No.1 Winter 2012 I think i saw something about next issue was Winter 2013. It comment: This is the 49th Agent Orange Review that VA has published. This issue was completed in winter 2012 and does not include developments that occurred after that time. For past issues of the newletter and other information, please visit our website at www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/agentorange

    Ao Review

Today recieved my first Agent Orange Review for information for veterans WHO served in Vietnam. Vol.26 No. 1 This must be the new magazine to let us know about AO. I bet only the vietnam and Korea veteran's that recieve this are the one that file for compensation. Not the ones that are dying and don't know. I would think Berta wrote most of it, or they copied it from her! Good article on Korea Veterans. I guess it is a start
  8. Make sure you have outside doctor to check the level neuropathy. That could help the level of percent of compensation. In the my case mine was secondary to DMII,which VA gave 60% left leg, 40% right leg and 10% both hands. This condition continues to get worst. Never give up!
  9. My lawyer said it could be 90 days and it happen about 70 ish day, courts might be back up. No news is good news, -----------most of the time! good luck
  10. That test I took for Agent Orange C&P was a joke. If you have the conditions of AO and you were Boot's on the ground and they want the test. Then waste there money or should I say our tax money. I think if you don't do the test, they will find away to take your compensation! Good Luck
  11. Bite Me , if that ship the USS Okinawa had ALL ready been to Vietnam and is on the list of ship toxic with AO. The VA should give you some medical support and I would think the Philippine Islands was a test ground for a lot of thing used in Vietnam. Berta would be the one to ask about that. Good Luck
  12. Berta, I get SMC housebound, SMC loss of creative organ, and 60% for bowel disfunction. I'm SSDI since last August. Thank you for all YOU do for us the Veteran!
  13. I'm giving a update to the 4 1/2 year fight of the prostate cancer from Agent Orange. Zytiga drug has kept it in control for a year with little growth. The tumor's are still there, but grown little or none. The doctor's at MD Anderson cancer center said another six month maybe Zytiga. Having a lot of side effect, pain, HOT FLASHES. If I don't take it, I will be pushing up daisy! PN continues to attack me at all parts of the body with increase pain and burning. Last August 2012 had another heart attack and back to exercising again! Depression is a continuous fight and all the other mind effect. DMII still a problem, but a small problem. Oh, by the way bowel disfunction, really messy
  14. Norris, In my fight against prostate cancer the chemo cause great problem's PN. Being rated with 60% left leg, 40% right leg and 10% for hands. It's a lot worst in the 2 years ago I had the chemo. The chemo did not work and on to other drugs. You need to file for the secondary conditions and maybe SSDI. Thanks for your sevice!
  15. donaldharrisiii Welcome to the Hadit! Thank you for your service!
  16. I used this site to help a WWII Marine Veteran with claim for Atomic Veteran. He was station at Nagasaki from Sept. 1945 to July 1946. He is 88 years old and has alot of cancer. His children are sick with nerve problems and can not see very well. Both are living with him, because of their sickness. Is there any claim for them??? I think the radiation has cause their problems???
  17. Papa, Once she is on ChampVA you have six months to apply for all your back copayment to February 16, 2010. This is for doctor's and medicine. So stay on top of that. My wife received a nice check.
  18. Welcome to the site and if you are having problems, as John999 said, don't wait!
  19. Let the war died and save the soldier that fought for our country. Everybody has a breaking point.
  20. Kcvab, I'm sorry that you are getting the Va shuffle. VA will not do anything until about 6 months to 9 months. Ebenifits will sometimes miss lead, and I know that hard to believe. You might call "Peggy" at VA 1-800 and try to get them to help. Stay after them, never give up! Good Luck, SP4
  21. Yes, I remember one of worse thing we fought on the maintenance of our Ch47 Chinooks was the dust that accumulated inside our equipment. Also bullet holes were a problem too. In the picture's that I took of Camp Eagle from my gunner postion, you could see the spray area's were around our base. There was no way you could get the dust out with out a complete maintenance at a depot location.
  22. Back the mid 80's started seeing doctor's about the pains running down legs. After all the privite doctor's, and they came up with sciatic nerve problems in both legs. My main primary doctor also notice that my sugar had been increasing over last few years to the point of diabetes II. In Apirl 2010 VA gave me service connection for diabetes mellitus type II from Agent Orange at 20%. At the same time they gave me PN 60% left leg, 40% right leg, and 10% in both hands. Three years later in 2013, and these conditions in my legs and hands have lonely got worst. I have trip and fallen down in the last year 3 times and losing control of body function. I have had to increase my pain med's to 600mg of Lyrica, 15mg Morphine per day. As you can see last year having another Heart attack and plus the PN problem. Forget the Prostate cancer, Lymph node cancer,DMII and the PN is giving me hell. Capt. Contaminate, I will never give up. God Bless, Ralph
