  1. Wow. you would think that we would be the main Americans cared for. But yes sadly we are not. Ironically I have a similar story. In 2004 I was denied on all but one of seven claims and received a 0% rating. being the Army Infantry guy that I was said well if the Va says I deserve zero then that must be what I deserve and just excepted my disabilities. In 2009 one night while doung my job as a civilian goverment police officer I caught a man and women in a car having sex behind an abandoned building. after getting to the bottom of things I searched their vehicle and found a bag full of narcotics. when I inquired he showed proof how everything was from the va. He then inquired on my hearing aids abd my percentages ect. I said zero and he was shocked. he invited me to his home the next day and said he wanted to help me. Ling story short he did 20 minutes of paperwprk and less then a year later I was rated at 20%. I showed him the rating and he said not good enough and did another 30 minutes of paperwork. a year later I was rated at 40%. God bless him.
  2. Thanks. Means a lot right now.
  3. It apprears that after receiving all my medical redords from the military (took six months) and all my va medical ecords (took a few weeks) that my initial treatment records for my blow to the head and being unconcious are missing. All my records have is my stitches removal from my face and labels it as training accident. so they have the record of my stitches removal from a training accident. BUT WHERE IS the initial visit telling of my open face wound, chipped teeth, black and blue side of my head, crooked nose and being found in the woods unconciuous? Ive got pictures from my basic ceremony that should coincide with the date of stitches removal that will show just how severe my injury was. But I swear it feels like a conspiracy. Obviously I know it is not, however......Knowing you rightfully deserve compensation for an evnt that changed your life and not being ble to locate buddies who were there 15 years ago or records of your initial visit just missing is quite frustrating! Where is the record? Any suggestions on what to do in the case of missing medical records?
  4. My xray result showed arithus in right shoulder a few weeks ago. Mri results came in today. Tear in right shoulder and fracture in right wrist.
  5. Well Ive been stuck at 40% for a few years and Im working hard to get what I deserve... but im feb 2011 i took a buddy who used to be in the marines to the va and we diid it all together. July 2013 he got 80% on his first crack and 40k in retro. June of 2012 i took another buddy who was my subordinate in the Army to the VA and walked him through it.... Well after 14 months of waiting he called me the other day..40% rating on his first try. Though I would love success to come my way. helping others and seeing the joy in their eyes and voices is the next best thing
  6. Very happy for you. Congrats
  7. So my range of movement on all test dosent seem to warrant anything. What about pain or the noted impengment? Or the diagnoses of at leaste as likely as not pain due to rotator cuff? None of this is worth anything?
  8. I forgot about abduction from my physical therapy results. Abduction. L 145 R 90
  9. Physical therapy results flexion L 130 with pain R 140 with pain extension L 20 with pain R 20 with pain external L 60 R 60 Internal L 30 R 30 After showing my private Dr. these results he recommended an xray results are left shoulder normal and right shoulder shows arthritus. I am currently scheduled for an mri for my shoulders next weak. Can anyone tell me there thoughtts on possibly being sevice connected and what percentage if so. Thank you for any help
  10. I was army infantry from 98-2004 I was medically discharged for hearing loss and bilateral shoulders. however my shoulders met retention standards. When I discharged in 2004 i made a va claim for my shoulders in which I received no service connection. At the c and p the doctor wrote the following. Examination of his right shoulder reveals no cracking but does have mild pain with movement. 180 degrees of flexion and abduction. 70 degrees of extension. 90 degrees external and 90 degrees internal rotation. impengment negative. Left shoulder reveals no tenderness with palpalation. 180 degrees flexion and abduction. 70 degrees extension. 90 degrees external and 45 degrees internal which is quite painful. impengment positive on left. his left shoulder is symptomatic when he goes over his head or or when he bends his arm inferiorily. Diagnosis right shoulder pain muscoloskeletal. x ray negative left shoulder pain more likely than not due to rotator cuff abnormality. xray negative after nine years of pain from my shoulders I finally went to my private Dr. who suggested physical therapy. after 7 weeks of physical therapy here are the results.
  11. Not gonna hi jack but man if I had found this site a few years back! thank you and good luck
  12. Yup. what harley said. I was medically discharged for hearing loss and my shoulders from the army. Both very much documented. to include tinitus being heavily documented. I received a 0% rating for hearing loss. bothing for tinitus and nothing for my shoulders. On my cp exam for my shoulders the va doctor wrote at leaste as likely as not due to military service.. And still not service connected. I wish you the best but you may have to fight for what you deserve.
  13. Your hearing scores are pretty good. 0-25 is normal hearing. 35-55 hearing aids required but more than likely a 0% rating. 55-100 and thats when your likey to get a 10% or more percentage. Takes a lot of hearing loss to get a high percentage for hearing loss. My scores touch 85 in the left and right ear and im only 30% for hearing loss and 10% for tinitus. Id pursue the tbi and see if tinitus can be linked secondary
