  1. To be honest - the time frames of the stages really goes out the window - I've notice this myself and was told by my POA rep at America Legion - there use to be a monthly quota and deadline each claims rep had to live by but with so many cases being open daily and with the number of claims - it's hard to say the length of time it takes for each stage. So don't count on that this way it will help keep your daily disappointment and frustration level down. He also stated that the more conditions one have on a claim the longer it takes and God knows I have about 8 conditions on my claim lol
  2. No Red...I went up to the Regional Office today and spoke with my POA (America Legion) rep and he assured me that no additional evidence is needed and that the claims person is still looking at the file. I stated that after 30 - 60 days and I do not receive any information - to call him back personally - but I should have a decision rating well before then. In a way it's not a bad thing because it's still being reviewed and not denied.
  3. On eBenefits go to My Personal Dashboard - on that page there is a tab that says Update Your VA/DoD Contact Information...uder that tab you will see Direct Deposit and Contact Information for Compensation & Pension and Post-9/11 GI Bill Education Review of Evidence means that the person handling your claims have all the evidence they need and are taking a closer look to make sure no more evidence is needed before going to Preparation for Decision. I myself am stuck in this stage - one day I was in the Preparation for Notification and the next day my file went back to Review of Evidence. I went do to the VA office and thats how it was explained to me. Hope this helps

  6. I would say to cut and paste the letter into Word and modify it to say what you need it to say because it's in the wording - you are not lying just moving words around...
  7. NJ...This is GREAT news!!! Congrats on your long fight!!! I'm very happy for you.
  8. @SSG - I 2nd what Phil says if u r 100% sure u they have everything then go ahead and ask them to give you an expedited discussion base off the current information they have. I myself had to put in 2 congressional inquiries in just to have my file push along...now I'm in the Notification stage.
  9. I second Carlie...I would hold off until you have the official copy and go back to the drawing board to see what needs to be resubmitted.
