IF YOU HAVE WHENT TO THE VOCREHAB SCREENING WERE YOU TAKE ALLTHE TESTS AND SIT DOWN WITH A COUNSELER. PLEASE GET A COPY UNDER THE FOIA. THIS CAN BE VERY GOOD EVIDENCE FOR YOUR CLAIM AND FOR SSD. I USED THIS EVIDENCE FOR MY CLAIM AND I FEEL IT HELPED ALOT. VOCREHAB SAID I WAS UNEMPOLYABLE AND IT WAS NOT FEESABLE FOR ME TO BE IN THE PROGRAM DUE TO MY PTSD. I SENT THIS TO THE VA AND SSD. I did the same thing with my voc rehab couselor. Basically, after all the testing and my physical and mental condition there was nothing I could do and she said so in the letter to me. I used it as evidence.

Hello all. I am new here and hoping that I can help as well as get advice from others.

I was recently approved for VA voc rehab - long term employment services. I am enrolled in school and they are footing the bill. I didn't expect to be approved....it took 14 years to get a 10% SC rating. As I understand it, at 10% the VRC has to determine that your SC is a serious employment handicap. I have discussed this with the DAV and they are doing a increase request based on this..... and a variety of other things.

I just received another letter that my application for voc rehab has been received (the standard pre-orientation letter)... seriously?

I am attending classes online. I have a decent 2002 HP pavillion....but hitting my VRC up for a laptop. I live in a hurricane prone area. Last year we had to evacuate twice in a 2 week period (Gustav & Ike). So I approached my request as a proactive stance to avoid an overpayment situation - cross your fingers.
