They hit the nail on the head.

The Va is not looking at the claims. There are a boatload of mistakes because of that single solitary issue.

Now the question arises, How can the Veteran Help the VA to help the Veteran get his claim processed in an efficient and timely manner.

I would use that line on a claim any day.

I for one am sick of the way that the media lets these people with the VA off the hook.I remember when 60 minutes was a true investigative news show that asked the hard questions, but again tonight it proved that it has gone soft...---...

Well, bemoaning the weak, short ill informed 60 minutes show, everyone needs to go to the CBS 60 minutes web site look around to send e-mails with what every one has said here and more....

Ex[lain to tha "show" they need to actually do some reporting and INVESTIGATION....

I and you know a good portion of what the VA claims will never happen.

The sweet heart deal with the private C&P company just for one thing....

what about the VA officials that got thrown in jail? shreddergate, and all?

never mentioned..... there is a list that needs to be made

I will light up CBS's web site with e-mails to 60 Minutes and show them they missed the wholepoint..

WE all need to get the ball rolling..

I watched it and saw nothing that I did not already know. However, the general public now may be more so than ever were informed "prime time" what a terrible inefficient service the Dept of Veterans Affairs provides with claims. Also, I heard the one VA employee mention the "B" word: BONUS. I just do not understand WHY Va employees are paid bonuses for doing their job.(??) They get the bonus---the Vet gets the "BONE".

There will likely not be any follow up. There will likely be no pressure on President Obama to investigate the shredding & hiding claims to keep their point levels up for bonuses.

Think CNN, MSNBC will do an in depth investigation into why we are intentionally delayed while bonuses are paid out?

I suppose it's good for those who are struggling economically in this nation to see how vets are being cheated. Will they demand changes for us? Highly unlikely. They have their own problems & they never served. That job is left to us.

So it doesn't matter which war or non war period you served in or which branch of service or what unit or what fire fight or whether you served two yrs or retired.

We are all in this together.
