Question
Michaelchappell
I was seperated from the navy because I found out I had type 1 diabetes while serving in rota , spain in the late 1980's. I fought for and recieved a rating of 40% disabilty as a result with the help of the va back then. Since then I have been seen By my own doctors through blue cross blue shield through job with the postal service, I would like to get back in the system with the va and recieve my meds for my diabetes for free which i should have been doing all along, it is getting quite expensive, I am now on an insulin pump and would also like to look into getting my 40% raised to whatever I can as I have secondary problems as a result of the diabetes now , does any have any insight or experiences dealing with this and how should I go about getting this process started?
