request the 100%schedule Rating From combined IU Rating?

 Calling All Hands on Deck,

Anyone know what the VA Form # is to request the 100% scheduler rating be given & the IU to be moot?

As I understand  when a veteran is rated for combined IU/with P&T and no future exams schedule and his S.C. Disability is of nature not expected to improve in his life time.

The Criteria is,a when veteran has a combined scheduler IU Rating & the veteran has another separate rating of 70% or higher   he can request the 100% scheduler rating....the R.O, is supposed to do this at the time of the separate rating but the fail to do this and the Veteran don't know he can request the IU to be MOOT and given a 100% schedule rating.

This would change things for the veteran  if he was/is able to do some kind of work he could add to his family's income.  & Not be worried about for getting to send in the aggravating 21-4140-1  Every freaking Year.

Anyone know the FORM#?  or more information on this?

asknod, broncovet, Ms berta, j basser, Gastone, Vync, Ms Tbird???  & other knowledgeable members.   please feel free to chime in here.

Thanks

Buck

I was give IU backdated to November in January and then it was made P and T when I appealed their denial in May and was granted in June for my sTBI residuals and PTSD along with my secondary disabilities. Now today I was told in there decision they never mentioned my previous decision making me P and T but raised my rating to 100 scheduler it gets very confusing since I was apparently 90% P and T but the letter stated 100 because I was IU but failed to mention IU when awarding me 100 P and T. So I called the whitehouse hotline they are addressing the issue.... i hope

I have a rating of 70% TDIU in 2001, and 60% was added in 2008 along with a 20%, 10%, 10%, 10% and 10% ratings for PN in all four limbs.  I am still rated at 90% TDIU P&T and I get S.  How can I still be at 90%?  I don't care that much as long as I get my money.

jfrei, with a few exceptions, P&T IU, and 100% scheduler are the SAME.

Exception#1. With P&T IU, you can't have any earned income(with a few restricted exceptions), with 100% scheduler you can work all you want. #2. With P&T IU, you're at a higher risk of your SC's being decreased, at 100% scheduler, you're SC's are pretty much set in stone(minus any fraud to get the conditions).

But wouldn't I lose champva and DEA benefits already awarded to me?
