C&P Opine Options
I was told that there are 5 options for raters to assign or opine on a C&P exam. Just curious if anyone has ever seen anything other than "at least as likely as not" or "not at least as likely as not"? My experience is that the Dr or PA choose one of these two. 5 Options: "is due to” (100% sure) “more likely than not” (> 50%) “at least as likely as not” (equal to or greater than 50%) “not at least as likely as not” (< 50%) “is not due to” (0%)

hypertension I wanted to frag the examiner but maybe a medal is due
I just had a C&P for a number of issues related to IHD and am amazed at the ways they find to reject claims. I will discuss those in another post and bring up the most important one in this post. A brain injury secondary to IHD. Bypass surgery caused an injury possibly through a stroke that really affected my life. Learning about and then trying to connect it to IHD has been the problem. Most likely than not is the term he used and I hope it helps my TDIU claim I'm attaching the results. ***Note: Your health care team may not have all of the information from your Personal Health Record unless you share it with them. ptsd Upcoming C and CP PTSD
I have my Exam/evaluation in a week or so. I've done a some research trying to prepare as much as i can. However, i really havent come up with a lot. My questions: 1) Was it really worth getting nervous about? 2) Is the QTC DR usually a dick? i dont know if i can keep my cool if they try to belittle my problems, or treat me like an idiot. 3) how much of the exam actually effects your rating/ service connection? 4) can i show statements from my family/old bosses/coworkers/ect.. and will they actually take the time to read them? i dont want to take the time to have this done for them to tell me to pound sand. ill probably flip out I'm s…

ptsd QTC C&P Results Not Available
I have been fighting service connected bladder cancer for 5 years (Jan 11) and was recently told by the VA I need to attend a QTC C&P Examination. I completed the exam on 27 Jan 2016 and there is no record of the exam that I have been able to find. My case did get settled with a continuation of 100% Temporary due to the 15 surgeries, chemo and that it is metastatic. What I don't get is how they can settle my case without the results of the C&P and oddly enough I was called from an individual at the Muskogee Regional VA and was told the case was going to be delayed because additional DBQs were going to need to be filled out, ie ED. This same guy also told me …

OGBYN qualified to complete Knee, Back & Ankle Exam?
So after receiving my C-File and reading the doctors notes for my Knee, Back and Ankle exam two months ago and realizing something was off as her rationale make little sense given my record I looked into the doctors qualifications and found that she is gynecologist who apparently began with the VA Exam Contractor QTC Management after being losing a lawsuit for malpractice. My problem is this lady should not be doing exams on these issues when it is not her specialty. Her medical opinion and rationale is attached here but she says my back and ankles are less than likely secondary to my service connected knee and feet issues because of my weight but she obviously failed to …

ptsd QTC/IMA Exams
So here is my predicament. I'm 70% service connected with PTSD and have been for almost four years now. I recently received a phone call from the QTC Corporations asking me if I was available for an appointment. I asked them what it was about. They said the VA is now "outsourcing" their patients and I was on the list. My question is this. If I already have my rating why do I need to go to the QTC? I've got my rating and I go to the VA as much as possible, not as much as they would like me to BUT I do go(think the last time was over a year ago). I'm all anxious about this shit and its causing me stress I do not need. Can the VA be trying to reduce my rating? Is that possib…
