ptsd Waiting On Results....so..frustrated
Hello Again Everyone/Berta; Well, I had my C&P last month one with the Psychiatrist (PTSD has worsened) and one with the M.D. (she didn't know anything about Neurology and that's why they sent me there) but I sent VA a message through IRIS that I had received a copy of my C&P results and the report by the M.D. was incorrect, and not true. She didn't do any type of tests, labs, anything she just talked to me and I didn't talk much because she started off by asking me "Now, why do you think your not supposed to work"....I told her that I've worked since I was 16 so I don't know what she was talking about. I asked her if she had read over my file, and She said, …

Discharge Review
I am asking the Discharge Review board to grant that I was discharged because of medical reasons. I have the SMR's that show diagnosis and treatment for a emotional disorder including a hosptialization. I also have a psychiatrist's report that reviewed my SMR's and says that the military misdiagnosed me with a personality disorder and not the panic and dissocosiative disorder that started in Vietnam. The lawyer I talked to told me not to get my hopes up but that I should try and send the board something to beef up my appeal. The board has my medical records now. Any ideas on what would be good to beef up my evidence to change the nature of the reasons for discharge. …

I was told that I didnt return the "VA Duty to Assist Letter. There is nothing "titled' Duty to Assist letter or when it needs returned. only the VCAA. Is this the goofy got to find it in the VA papers "request" for me to accomplish so they can make a decsiion on my case? b. Isnt that "their opinion When the VA recites a statement such as" all reported by you to be caused by ....duty related stress,,,,,,,," I can only find that one time in my medical records howver found other repeated (reported by me) stat…

Information Request
I sent an FOI request to my last duty station to try and find some lost mental health records. The Army has forwarded my request to the VA saying they don't have any records. The VA does not have the records, or I would have them by now. St Louis says my file is at the Correction of Records Board so they don't have access to any of my records. I already requested all my medical records from St. Louis. I did, however, write a request to private hospital in Tampa where I spent a few days on leave from RVN. If they still have those old records I will be shocked. Trying to get more records show the Review Board the condition I was in when I was discharged to try and g…

Venting Sorry
Just venting but hope it works out in somehow. Neighbor's son went joined the Navy and became a medic type (sorry can't seem to spell the Navy title right). Then comes along the recent conflicts. Now he is "Home". We, his Mom, peer friends, and myself have been trying to get him to go to the VA. He has signifigant issues since his "in the box" time. I won't go into it because many here have been through much of the same if not worse. Suffice it to say he has a full spectrum of medical concerns now.

Myler Clear Unmistakable Error
This is for Cavman and anyone else- A very good CUE claim pertaining to residuals of Gun shot wounds as well as an excellent example of a successful CUE.I posted this before at hadit but it was hard to find- maybe newtopic will help. The veteran found legal error in the legal citations the VA had used as far as DC and rating went and this shows how a medical rating situation can become legal error, therefore it is a CUE. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ISYSweb 6 document view for No. 90-1098 First hit Next document Previous document Native WordPerfect View image Back to results New search […
