The youngest son came back and is living with my ex now- he has had some sort of temporary custody in the past with these kids. tdiu Fired From Job, And What If I Win Arbitration?
I was fired from my job of 16 years in 2-'05, and at the time I was 20% service connected. I immediately put in for upping the percentage, and since then I have been found to be 70% with 100% TDIU. My job was a union job, and the union has been fighting to get it back for me with 100% back pay.(Which right now is about 90K.) Has anyone ever been in or heard about a situation like this? I know I can't go back to the job I was doing, because I could tell that the job was becoming too hard for me. What I would like to have is the obvious, made whole and keep my VA benefits. If the job insists that I go back in order to get my back pay, would the VA take away my status …

Ssdi And Va
Hi all, Just wanted to pass on some information. As you all know my husband is a Vietnam Vet and has filed for both VA and SS disability compensation. We hired an attorney to represent him for the SSDI as we were told that where we live everyone is turned down the first time and he would have to file an appeal. So we thought by hiring an attorney we might be able to speed up the process. We were self employed and unfortunately we could not afford health insurance. Soooo.. that makes the VA his primary care doctor. The attorney asked my husband to take a disability questionaire to the VA and have the VA doc fill out the paperwork for Social Security. The VA docto…

The Reason For The Ssa Shortfall
I have studied the SSA projected loss due to baby boomers retiring. I have found out an interesting fact. The average person making 88000 or less pays 7.5 percent ssa tax into the fund. Persons making more pay the same amount as the average person. But the total amount is allot less per percentage than the average person. At 88000 the maximum payment into the system is 6600. That is 7.5 percent. If a person makes 350000 They still pay in 6600. They should pay in 26250. They are actually paying 0.075 percent. Now where is the SSA short.
