Are Release Of Info Forms Needed?
Ive just put in my application for SSDI online. It says to send in the SS-827 (release of info) forms filled out for all my Dr's and facilities I have been to. My question is, I have copies of all my med records from all but two places. Do I really need to send in these forms for them to get them or can I just send in copies of all my records?

Ssd For Child
Does any one know if the SS payment my teenage son gets from SS each month are taxed. My son worked part time in a department store. he made less than $2000.00 last year, but he also gets money each month for the family/child portion from his father's SSDI award. It comes to me (his Mom) and then in turn I use it for his monthly expenses. Is this money suppose to be listed on the tax return? His (my son's), Mine or a joint return. Jangrin

Social Security
Hi everyone, I thought I had read sometime ago that if a Veteran was given disability, that he could apply for Social Security and that it would automatically be given. It stated that they had a rule or regulation on this. If anyone know of such a ruling or reg please post. I know of a vet who has been given 160% disability because of two knee replacements, etc. but has since been cut back to 70%, but has been denied Social Security twice even though VA say he is unemployable. He has appealed both times. Thanks!

tdiu Need Some Help/advice
I filed for SSD in Nov 04 at the onset of my disability. I was approved for disibility from the VA in Nov 05 for 80% SC (50% depression, 50% migraine headache, 10% foot injury and 20% for hip arthritis of hip). I was also awarded TDIU and Chap 25 Benefits. I was denided SSD for the first time (as most are) and hired an attorney, Binder and Binder. I am in a stage RTO (ready to schedule) and my hearing is coming up this month or next. I have no idea of what to expect at all. I have read here about something called an adj or alj, what is that? What will happen in the hearing? I have plenty of medical evidence showing that I have tried to commit sucide landing me…

100%va Can I Draw Any Form Of Ssd Or Ssi?
100%VA can I draw any form of SSD or SSI? I draw 100 % service from VA in Virginia for mental disorder and Lung damage during war time. Resently i have found it getting more exspensive in the winter time and I was told that I may be able to recieve some form of SS without it deducting from my VA funds, if so how do I go about this and if denied what is the best route to follow? Thank you. PS. If I draw 100% VA is there anyway I can get a small job and if so how much am I allowed to earn a year?

Have Or Not To Have A Medical Exam By Ssa
Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone could give me any kind of input for this: I had applied for SSD several years ago and was turned down, but they sent me to a SSA doctor for an exam. I also reapplied in 2004, same results, turned down, and had a medical exam. I filed again (never appealing any decision before, time always ran out) in 2006, but I have gone through brain surgery and have a condition that I will have forever and ever. This time they haven't sent me any info to go to a dr to have an exam. Do I have more of a chance of getting SSD if there is no exam, especially since I have been turned down twice before this? Do you think they will still…
