When Will Review Be?
Hi all: Got my ssdi July of 2003. Paid me back to February of 2002. Award letter said I get reviewed in three years. Is the review three years from my 2/2002 date of disability or the 7/2003 date they paid me? Thanks Mike S.

Can My Spouse Draw On My Ssdi?
Just wondering about this, it's not coming up real soon. I was approved for SSDI in 1994 and accepted Medicare Part A. I had worked for Civil Service for many years before I applied for SSDI, so I had enough SS Quarters to get SSDI, but not enough "recent" quarters at the time to actually draw any money from SSDI. Since I was approved for SSDI, can my spouse draw on my SS at an earlier age than 62?

Got Ssdi, Now How To Get Va To Say More Than 30%?
I have been dealing with the Seattle VARO for many years, and just had my claim for increase in SC disability rejected after being out of work for 4 months with Severe Major Depression. I also submitted for SSDI from SSA, and was approved yesterday. My question is that given that both outfits had virtually the same information to go on, why did SSA approve me and VA not? Also, is there anyway that since both agencies criteria for disability on mental disorders are virtually identical, that I can use the SSA evaluation to blundgeon the VA into the same type of disability determination? I've been told that SSA is much the harder of the two, but in my case, it seems …

Warning Look Out!
I was called by a Mr. Kevin Davenport this evening who obviously knew my SSN and was "acting as an agent" for the Soc Sec admin. They were calling from a firm who was going to answer any questions concerning the forms I recently submitted on prescription drug coverage? Only thing is I never filed any such forms but they had all my info, I did not confirm or deny anything I suggest you do the same, I use the VA pharmacy not the civ. drug dispensers as you probably do too :( I used Star 69 which ID'S the last caller heres what I got: MCS Pearson West ent. 866-870-…

Ssdi And Ssi Blue Book
For General Information, In order to recieve SSDI or SSI the claimant must build their case to show that they can no longer function in the work place doing their job, or peforming jobs skills that can be transfered or modified. Social Security uses the "BLUE BOOK" as their quidelines for functional disability as well as disabling disease processes and mental disabilities. While your building your VA case, remember to build your SSDI case. Check out the BLUE BOOK, PART A for adults. hypertension Social Security Self Report
I have had a great many people ask and have used this example of a self-report for Social Security Disability Income and the VA. With the VA, one must remove the law about PTSD and the disorder numbers in the List of Impairments and then this report can be used to file for VA compensation. This report is a composite of many issues suffered by several different veterans complied into a sample report. This report in no way guarantees successful achievement of SSDI of VA Compensation. Nor should this report be copied and used word-for-word. It is merely a tool to help those seeking SSDI and VA Compensation frame their own self-reports. Social Security Claims Medical and …
