P&t Or Temp
Good afternoon my fellow vets, Yet another question to be asked. How do you know if you received P&T or just Temp for your rating? Where exactly will it be located on your paperwork? I know that during my MEB process I got the Army's rating at 70% which said perm disability but nothing about P&T. Also when you are perm and total do you still have to have reviews every five years or so? As always I'm just a little confused by this whole retirement phase I'm in.

Off Tdrl To Permanent Disability
My husband had a testicle removed, followed by full torso radiation in 1968 for a seminoma diagnosed while in VN. He was on TDRL for four years, waiting for possible recurrence. He was also granted a 10% disability for loss of reproductive organ. Subsequently he received an honorable discharge and obtained civilian employment. At the end of the TDRL in 1974 and the end of the payments, he sent a letter inquiring as to the disposition of the remaining 10% disability. His records reveal a letter to him instructing him to send in a form 21-651, of which there is no copy. He doesn't know if he ever sent it in. Should there have been a monthly benefit? Is there residual …

Moving Right Along
Well you guys I should have my rating soon. I went from pending decision to decision approval in just four days. I'm nervous only because I think my psychiatrist screwed me making her own assumptions and documenting it without asking me about certain things. I'm hoping they really go by info I gave my c&p examiner and psychologist. Have my fingers crossed for a much needed increase and not a non increase or decrease. I will post update as soon as I get it.

1% Percent Increase Or 1.8 % Percent Increse
I saw an article where they are recommending a 1% percent cost of living increase for military veterans and federal workers. The amount would automatically be 1.8% (for veterans) if Congress didn't act on it. Has anyone heard anything similar?
