This is where to post those questions. it's OK, if you are feeling confused this is not at all unusual it can be a very confusing system. C And P Exam Prior To Ets And Evidence Question
I was an infantry grunt and complained of lower back and hip pain discomfort at my c and p exam in southkorea a month before my ets. I never went to sick call for these issues because were supposed to suck it up and drive on. My question is how will the va view my claims seeing that i have no evidence of complaints in my smr except for the exam prior to ets. Are the c and p exam complaints considered evidence since the exam was before my ets?

lumbosacral Question About Rating For Back, knees, feet
Good day to you all. I was rated 40% for back condition( chronic lumbosacral strain), 10% for left and right knee patellofemoral syndrome all due to flat feet. 50% for bilateral feet pes planus with plantar fasciitis which was increased from 20%. My question is I have a future exam for feet and back but not knees, so how can someone's feet and back get better when you walk on your feet everyday and put pressure on knees and back due to flat feet. They totally skipped the knees as far as future exam. Any ideas or insight on how this is possible since on my exam, they said condition not improved by shoes and all the criteria for 50% and this is maxed out as far as rating f…

Can You Help?
Just wanted some input on my chances for an increase form the 10% I get now for my Low Back Pain with Menimal Degenerative Changes of Left Sacroiliac Joint. The last time i put in for an increase i was denied and told i was getting better even though all of this was in my va med. records. From reading this forum and other research I know where i messed up at and it was my ROM test. I didn't understand just how this test effects your claim and i tried my best to touch my toes even though i was in bad pain. I have recently applied for an increase again, waiting for C&P, but according to this info in my records what can i expect? Any info would be helpful. TD-AD…

Thoracolumbar....
It is my understanding that the VA rates the Thoracolumbar as one segment. Basically this means if one part of the Thoracic spine is messed up and later on in life the lumbar starts to mess up then it is suppose to be rated as the same as if it was the thoracic spine because there is no Thoracic and lumbar separation in the diagnostic codes...Correct? I've been looking at all my stuff and I think I missed something and so has the VA of course. After the accident in service it was my thoracic spine area that gave me huge problems. Then within a year all the pain progressed to my lower back and cervical spine. While in service the XRays showed degenerative changes in m…

Separated At 10% And Later Was Increased To 30%
I was separated for arrhythmia issues in 2003 and was given a 10% rating. I received military severance pay at discharge. I have been fighting the case and just received an SSOC stating that my award for increase to 30% will be effective Sep 24, 2009, not when I was separated in 2003. I didn't give this situation much thought until today. I know I would have been retired if I had received 30% when leaving the Army in 2003. What happens now that the disability that resulted in the separation was increased from 10% to 30%? Do I still continue to pay back the separation (that is why I expected) or do they change it to a retired status (as my separating issue is now…
