This is where to post those questions. it's OK, if you are feeling confused this is not at all unusual it can be a very confusing system. Va Disability Comp: No Decision Yet
Is there a way to make the VA prove that they have not gotten information from sources we have specified in our claim? I am using one of my former chiropractors as an information source from my VA Service Connected upgrade appeal. Right now I am at 10% and have applied for an upgrade. I used several sources, but the VA says they have not received information from the aforementioned chiropractor. The chiropractor, however, insists that the information in their files was sent. I was told by one of the claims reps at 1-800-827-1000 that the information that this chiropractor has "not sent" to the VA is the only thing holding up processing my case. In an effort to not a…

tdiu Smc Or Aid And Attendance
I had 3 level SC lumbar fusion and am currently on appeal for TDIU Surgeon supported my claim for IU and Severe Arthritis secondary to SC IVDS. I applied for Aid and attendance since my ability to do task like bathing hygine and lifting/bending are limted. I had the surgeon do the examination for AA and sent it off. I am still waiting on VA as predicted but I cannot afford to pay for someone to come in everyday. I am at the merc…

Why Does Va Lump All Claims Together?
Hey can anyone explain why the VA lumps all of the claims and waits for the claims to be in a holding pattern? I ask as i had put in on a financial hardship (wife had brain surgery and her income was cut in half) she came out okay thank God but we like a loft of others in the US are having a rough time. I had thought that even looking at the evidence for the financial hardship that the VA would pass the claim for when i had surgery for SC back in May hospital/recovery by statement from surgeon at least 1 year. It just took me about a month to catch my surgeon for a sit down to explain what the VA required. My whole back is eat up with arthritis and i claimed that prior to…

Payment For Medical Bill
I'm not sure where to post this but here goes. A friend of my wifes father who is service connected had a heart attack, was taken by ambulance to the "nearest" hospital which is protocol. After emergency bypass surgery, hospital stay etc., they got a huge bill from the hospital. The hospital told them the VA is refusing to pay the bill because they went to an "outside "hospital. Can someone advise how to handle this, I told my wifes friend I thought the VA is responsible because it was a life threatening situation. Again any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Bergie

3 Months Since C&p No Answer
Well it's been 3 months since my C&P for a number of issues, most notably panic disorder and IT band syndrome. In todays tech world it is frustrating that something takes soooooooo long. Anyhow while all this waiting, I was called last week by QTC "You need to get a heart stress test" come in tomorrow. Ok well don't really understand that, but I went. All good I guess I wasn't rushed off to the ER during the test. :) This waiting is craziness! Wait 3 months, oh wait we need another test, now wait again. I filed my claim back in November last year and I guess it takes a year to decide i need a stress test. Well Yeah, I'm stressed from this f-ing waiting.

Hello : I am filing for an increase in my service connected pension for gastrectomy. I currently receive 20% and I am adding anemia to the claim. Does anyone have any experience with this ? I was treated for anemia with IV iron and this has corrected the low ferritan levels. What might i expect and what would be a likely timeframe from the C & P exam?

ptsd 100% Disability Rating
I'm not sure if this question has been answered else where in the forum. If so, excuse me. I'm currently rated at 30% and have three claims pending for which I have already had my C&P exams. PN, IHD, and PTSD/Depression & Anxiety. I'm assuming that the IHD alone will push me over the 100% + mark rating but like alot of us, we are still waiting on that decision. Oh, by the way, I called the 1-800- number and was told they would make a final decision on my PN claim after my PTSD exam. What's does PN have to do with PTSD??? My question is, Will I qualify for medicare if my total disability rating reaches100%? I filed for SSDI over a year ago on the advise of…
