C&p For Arteriosclerotic Heart Disease
I was recently given a C&P for Arteriosclerotic heart disease. The VA's own disability exam worksheet says the examiner to provide the METs level determined by exercise testing except if the exercise testing in contraindicated. All I got was an echocardiogram at rest and the PA listened to my heart with her scope. Was I given an adequate exam, or did I get the cut rate variety. There is not contraindication that would indicate I could not have had a stress test. The PA even misrepresented the results of the echocardiogram. I got a copy of the VA exam sheet, but it seems very skimpy. Is there some place I can look to more information on how the VA determines the degree…

Cp Exam Confused
Hi, I am new to forum. I am currently rated 80% for my back, knees and foot all service connected. Last year my condition worsen and currently I am not working so I applied for IU and Social Security . My Social Security was approved and I had a CP exam back on the 17 of June for my back and Knees. I am currently waiting to hear back from the VA. However, I have a copy of the CP exam and the Doc failed to put some important information in her report. First, I had EMG conducted by a VA Doc last year which indicated that I had severe peripheral neuropathy and in exact words he wrote in the report " he was greatly concerned" . However, what he did not say in the report…

Remanded
I finally got a copy of my C & P for my remanded claim for DDD of the cervical spine that I filed in 2004 and was denied in 2005. I filed a NOD in 2005 and VA sent me a SOC in 2006, of course I filed my form 9 and appealed in 2006 but VA did not respond to it. I had filed another claim in 2006 and was awarded service connection but I disagreed with the effective dates so I file a NOD/CUE to that claim. VA is just getting to my remanded claims. I was also recently awarded service connection for fibromyalgia. The C & P doctor stated "C Spine condition IS LESS LIKELY AS NOT(LESS THAN 50/50 PROBABILITY) CAUSED BY OR A RESULT OF service connected disabilities RATION…

Time From Exam To Triage
Good Day all, I am new to the Forums. I have read many threads and garnered a great deal of information. Thank You for all the posts. I am finally at my wits end and need some assistance. I submitted a request for reevaluation in OCT 08. I just submitted a request through IRIS the other day asking for some status. Let me back track, in June I requested status and was told my request was ready to rate. Yesterday I received a call from the VA IRIS team and we went over the action since that June email. Apperantly my claim is still in the triage stage waiting for the results of a C & P exam that was conducted in April 09. Something seems strange her…

Refractory Symptoms
Hello, i'm new here and heard about this site from another Vet. I am service connected for depression 70% and ibs 10%. I had a recent exam for increase in my IBS. The examiner stated that after reviewing my VA medical records my chronic diarrhea with nausea had become refractory and likely to continue. I'm confused on the word refractory and is this good for my chances for increase? Thanks for all help, Jim

Bad Vibes
The big day that I was waiting for is finally over. The exam lasted around 45 min and it was not what I expected. He didn't ask any of the things that I have read on the internet. This was an old time doctor and he was a prick. I requested a copy of my exam to be sent to me and he played dumb. He claimed that didn't know how that worked. I wanted to beat the sh-- out of him but I said thank you and I left. I don't think I did very well but time will tell, you never know. Bill
