Scar and Knee (PFPS) Claim
Hello Fellow Veterans. I filed a claim for a scar on my head, maybe about an inch long, sort of tender to the touch. This happen while aboard a Naval Vessel in 1999. It is clearly noted in my final physical. I filed this claim in late November 2017. Ebenfits shows received 11/30/2017 and it was completed 12/6/2017. Yes only a week. "not service connected" for both claims. I never had a C&P for either, so I am completely blown away at this decision. I do plan on speaking with the represented that helped me file the claim but I wanted get some guidance from you all. Thank you all very much. Semper Fi

Appealing VA decision of Annual CLothing Allowance
I was wondering if anyone has successfully appealed the VA decision to deny Annual Clothing Allowance claim. On yesterday, I received a letter form the VA stating that my claim was denied for my Annual Clothing Allowance. I submitted pictures of the braces which were provided by the VA Prosthetics in Fayetteville, it is the ones with the metal hinges on the side. I also submitted pictures of clothing items that were ruined as a result of the braces. I was encouraged to do fill out a appeal by an employee in prosthetics. Please advise me on how I should handle this matter.

Was I wrong to ask for a specific rating on appeal?
My appeal has been certified to the BVA. As a matter of clarification of benefit sought on appeal, I submitted a statement seeking entitlement to a specific ratiing (60 percent) rather than the standard "a rating greater than". Was that a mistake? If the BVA denies the 60% requested will they award a rating that I meet the critera for or will they just deny the 60% without any additional or supplemental award - because I specifically requested 60%?

Attorney hired
I am a complete mess due to the VA. The VA ruined my life. I should not have to send nasty grams because you lie in my medical records instead of treating me, so now I am not complaining to the patient advocate but to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs David Shulkin after each doctor visit and hope you (the nurses who make up things or not actually put the things I'm being seen for in my record) lose your medical license. Since that is a federal crime! This website helped me a lot, by being a platform, to get my game plan going with direction, because it seemed that I should be at 100% 15 years ago but I'm not. Originally thought 100% should be granted for all my c…

Looking for help regarding re-evaluation for PTSD
I was suppose to be re-evaluated for my PTSD, which was put at 100% temporary last summer, but was put off until this summer, which they put off until NEXT summer. I requested to be re-evaluated this year, as my children are now in college and until it is put at permanent, I cannot get college tuition paid for them, and am not allowed to work either. I was re-evaluated on Nov. 7th. I received the decision on the 24th! (it was sent on the 22nd) They kept it at 100% temporary!! The explanation says, "The overall evidentiary record shows that the severity of your disability most closely approximates the criteria for a 70% disability evaluation currently, however sustai…
