IME Template
Hi All, I am submitting a NOD for a disability claim that was denied. I know 2 doctors that are willing to look at my record(s) and submit an opinion. They are not a referral and have never submitted an opinion to the VA. Is there a template or can anyone point me in the right direction to ensure they hit the key salient points? Thanks in advance!

Appeal certified, now waiting on docket #
Well, It is finally certified and at the BVA after the RO having it for 2 years. Now I'm just waiting to get a docket number. Anybody have any idea how long I'm going to have to wait just to get a docket number. I read the post by brocovet that the time line to complete an appeal is about 4.7 years. So, I still have some years before this one is complete by the BVA. I just sent off another Nod, and just filed another claim and I just know the VA will deny some of my contentions although the evidence is there.

Denied....again please help me understand chapter 17
Hello all, So I recently got denied again this time I got the message Chapter 17 by the decision. I keep getting denied no matter what I seem to do. I made sure to use ONLY VA doctors with VA appointments. The first C and P examiner that denied me the first time I just so happen to get AGAIN! Can the VA do that? Give you the SAME exact examiner? I mean the first thing she said to me before " hello " was do you remember me from last time? Please can anyone shed some light on this for me? Is it time to actually hang it up and just "color"? I was diagnosed with insomnia and given Ambien to treat it. This C and P examiner keeps bringing up personality disorder? I …

I’m at the BVA level on my Appeal. I just got an RFE (Request Future Exam) CP exam done through VES.. if the RO increases my ratings per CP exam, what would happen to my appeal? Is there law or guidelines for when the RO changes rating during a pending appeal, through the BVA? Thanks

Question on Loss of Hearing/Tinnitus
I was given a VA Choice exam on Dec. 14, 2017 and examiner stated I had tinnitus and bilateral sensorineural hearing loss in left ear. He cleared me to proceed with getting an hearing aid through VAMC Audiology Clinic......now happening on Feb. 16th. I intend to file this as a new claim secondary to existing VA disabilities. My question do I need to get an IMO or does the VA examiner's report diagnosing my condition and medically clearing for an hearing aid is all I need to get the claim into a favorable light with RO? Has anyone else filed for this and what did you submit to get approved? Thanks.

2011 to 2016 BVA sends me to a Veterans Law Judge
I'll apologize in advance here if things get confusing or I ramble. One of my injuries is a TBI and I tend to not make sense at times. In 08/2011 I initially filed with the VA for several injuries that happened while in active duty that were causing chronic problems (20+ years) with me. Everything (except tinnitus) was denied by the C&P examiner who claimed there was no medical records, despite me sending in hundreds of pages of treatments. The DAV became my representative shortly after this happened. in 2012 I sent in duplicate copies and appealed. I can't recall everything that happened between those days but in 04/2103 I filled out an "Appeal to Board…

tdiu Case with the DRO no new C&P requested by BVA
Just wondering if anyone had this happen to them and what the outcome was good or bad? My claim has been expedited for financial hardship as well. This is for DDD, Mental Health awarded at 30% and TDIU. I have had 3 surgeries in past 2 years on lower back with fusion, rods and screws. Limited motion and in the Home Bound program as I am unable to travel to DR appointments due to DDD. No C&P appointments were requested as per BVA request but case is before DRO for decision.
