pending case dispatch after with a VLJ
Well not sure what the outcome is bad or good anyone have anyway of knowing? No attorney any more maybe ask him since he originally filed my appeal... Woman on the phone said it was sent back to the RO but that its almost over. Not sure what she meant she was pleasant but they tell you whatever you want to hear, fingers crossed service connection was determined and it’s almost over...Iris says a decision was made and awaiting to be mailed out from the BVA. There isn’t enough Prozac to get me from not obsessing after my long wait and my attorney isn’t even my attorney anymore but won’t respond to my email im assuming if it was ok for Me he would have happily responded m…

P&T request: Appeal or new claim?
I am in the midst of a form 9 appeal, waiting on the VARO to review and certify the appeal. If the claim is granted I will hit 100% disability. If Permanent and Total is not granted by the VARO or BVA, but the claim is otherwise approved, is applying for P&T a new claim or an appeal? My disability goes back 20 years and my claim is from February 2012, so I would obviously be looking to P&T status dated to the date of claim.

BVA Appeal Remanded
On May 31th, 2017 I received a letter from VA Board of Appeals stating; the VA conceded to my disabilities, along with a list of what they called "Entitlements" for loss of use of both legs, loss of use of both hands, total unemployable, aid and attendance. This all secondary to Chronic Kidney Disease(CKD) due to Camp Lejeune Water Contamination. Since that letter, I haven't received any other information, so does this mean I am entitlements if or when my claim is granted? Or is it just a formality? Thank you.

Docket Number Assigned But NOT Given
Checking on eBenefits I have found out that my BVA appeal has been assigned a "Docket Number", however that docket number has NOT been given to me. My lawyer, lately has been of no LUCK to me in answering my emails or phone calls. Appears too busy to pay attention to these kind of details {sarcasm}. That said... QUESTION: How do I find out what my Docket Number is? Posted on eBenefits (below): 11/29/2017 Awaiting Place on the Docket Generally, the Board is required to decide appeals in docket order. Your appeal was assigned a docket number based on the date VA received your VA Form 9 (Substanti…

BVA Questions
I received a letter the appeal is ready to be certified to the BVA; however the VSO says the appeal is still at the regional office. 1. Will I receive a letter and a docket number when the appeal reaches the BVA? 2. Will it have a address where I can submit/send additional evidence. 3. Does the BVA get a paper copy of evidence or do they have access to e-benefits? 4. How long do I have to submit evidence to the BVA before a Judge decides the matter? 5. Will I be contacted by someone before the Judge decides the appeal?

NOD Writing question
This is a "research administration" question and how to include it in my NOD. I'm completing my NOD, I have physician reports, etc. I will also rely on articles published in medical journals. When I quote from the journal, I will always state the reference, (of course). But do I need to attach the entire paper in my attachments? Sounds silly? But my concern is that if I attach only the pertinent page, the evidence will be "disqualified" as being incomplete. The NOD will be about 3 pages, but with "complete" articles about 40 pages.

Esophageal Stricture Secondary to SC GERD
Filed a claim for Esophageal Stricture (DC 7203) Secondary to SC GERD. Below is result of C&P Exam. Seems pretty straight forward. VSRO asks if Stricture is at least as likely as not due to GERD. Examiner responds in the affirmative. Decision letter mentions nothing about esophageal stricture and continues disability rating for GERD for 30%. Viewed many BVA decisions where 7203 can be rated separately and is not considered pyramiding. Filed for Stricture Secondary to GERD after recent EGD Exam diagnosed me with Schatzki ring and Eosinophilic Esophagitis. Both of which cause narrowing of the esophagus. Do I need to appeal or start a new claim?
Short and sweet, I got out of service in 2015 and filed a claim. It was retro to my date of separation. I was rated at 80% and about 13 of the claims my VSO put in were ruled not service connected. I want to re-submit those claims with better documentation and establish the things I have learned at this website but I dont know if I need to do an appeal or start a new claim?

Help please, claim was decided but doesn't make sense
Hello again, everyone. I submitted a claim for 2 conditions secondary to Bilateral Knee Arthritis. Shin Splints and Plantar Fasciitis. My claim was completed, and they took the shin splints and just added the word "shin splints" to my existing condition Knee arthritis. Not as secondary to.....just added shin splints to my existing condition. So, they combined a new condition to an existing condition. This can't be legal. Any advice? Second condition, plantar fasciitis was declined as the C+P doctor stated that my plantar fasciitis was caused by me standing at my job working in a hardware store, and wasn't secondary to my knees. My contention is…
