  1. problems should be resolved now. let me know if you continue to have problems. dawg is right i did an update incorrectly :( and tech support had to fix it for me.
  2. this is an intermittent problem that's why it's hard to reproduce tech support is working to resolve this issue.
  3. forest - they will only reimburse you for co-payments from the effective date that you reach 50% now on the co-payment for service connected issues only, i'm not sure on that and hope someone can answer that.

  5. ok - updating pages on the site. our home should state What HadIt.com Veteran to Veteran is, and wanted your feedback. so what is hadit.com? you tell me what you think should go on the home page... thanks for your help on this!
  6. i got a letter from my doc, twice, after the second letter they said they wouldn't be calling me again. my doc had no problem writing the letter, he was concerned about me stressing out or getting re-triggered or both. i feel bad about not serving, but it's best for me and probably better for the defendant if i'm not on the jury. :( tbird
  7. i had a hearing back in the early 90's i think. my anxiety was so high i had to take a cab to and from the hearing. however, the hearing was not bad. my dav rep was there and the judge and me, it went well for me and i basically just answered questions and my dav rep handled asking the questions and pointing out evidence.

Great News - Congratulations! Make sure you check with your state for any additional state level benefits you may qualify for. You can find a link to most state benefits websites here http://www.hadit.com/content/stategovernmentlinks.htm
  9. My #1 Tip for working your claim is Be Honest, tell them the truth about your problems don't try and suck it up and be strong. I recently met a few veterans, one told me he didn't want the VA to see him as weak, but you know if you are weak that's the kind of stuff they need to know. I met another guy who was just all bs, was going to bs his way thru his c & p and get a "nice check" as he said, geez, as if the wait wasn't long enough for deserving veterans. this just pisses me off to no end. sorry to vent.
  10. just wanted to share with you all. i had a voc rehab claim started a little over a year ago for a desk and chair that's adjustable, i'm short, and they came thru i really have to chalk this one up to a good voc rehab counselor, the desk should be here the end of the week and the chair is here! i looked at different keyboard and mouse solutions to give my right wrist some rest, but couldn't find anything i was comfortable with, i know it's a big expense but i bought a tablet pc and it should be here by friday i am really hoping the tablet pc enviroment will be easier on my wrists and shoulders. anyone out there with a tablet pc i'd like to know what you think of it. the tablet pc is on me the desk and chair is on the va and i am feeling truly blessed and happy to share this success with you all!
  11. This is neat - and it really works! This is for everyone over 50 whose eyesight isn't what it was or those with less than 20-20. I just found out about this. Thought I'd pass this on. It's very useful when trying to read small e-mail print . If you hold down the Ctrl key on your key board and turn the small wheel in the middle of your mouse, the print size will change - it will either get larger or smaller - depending on which way you turn the wheel. Pass this on to other friends who may find it very useful.
  12. differenet boards, different folks, different opinions, sometimes it's hard to find a board you fit in on. i'm glad you are comfortable here. other boards have their place and the more veterans we have on the net the better. word travels fast on the net and the more brothers and sisters that can stay informed and not isloated the better i say.
  13. Veterans Disability Commssion Website This link should be helpful for us to follow what they are doing.
