I filed for an increase, received it, and got backpay to the date I filed. Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly but the vet should be entitled to backpay from the date they filed for the increase.
The whole thing seems pretty damned silly if you ask me. Most companies probably won't respond due to fear of opening themselves up for litigation and lawsuits.
The rate of sleep apnea in veterans versus the general population is what you need to be looking at.
If you don't think it's warranted you can always forward all available funds to me.
I'm waiting on a TDIU case to be determined. I logged on to ebenefits today and noticed that the VA had sent 21-4192 letters to 2 old employers with a due date of 4/14/15.
What happens on the "due date" if no action is taken by the employer and they don't send it in?
I haven't seen much on the 21-4192 and I'd like to know more about the process.
I shot an email to Bob and got a DRO hearing in about 30 days. The lady I got was very adversarial and acted like I was trying to steal her milk money.
So far I really like it. From the "dashboard" you can click on disabilities and it shows everything you've been approved and denied for which I thought was kinda cool.
Seems to be more intuitive, slightly faster and a more stable platform.
You and I are the only 2 people I know of who have hit the button and we both received positive results in terms of getting C&P exams scheduled straight away. It maybe too early to tell, but I'm hesitantly optimistic about this new feature.
Had my C&P on Friday and now my estimated completion guesstimate on ebennies is 3/16 to 10/16.
I know the dates on there don't mean much, just updating.
Not to worry. I hit the button and went to Prep for Decision after a few weeks. Now, just went back to gathering evidence, or whatever it's called, and now have a C&P this Friday.
Logged on to ebennies today and saw this but have no clue as to what it means. I'm currently at Prep for Decision for TDIU, I've submitted all my evidence, and hit the "hurry up and make a decision" button on ebennies. Any ideas?
It would appear that the 900 fired number was highly inflated. I would not doubt that he was repeating a number that was given to him by one of his underlings. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-checker/wp/2015/02/18/no-the-va-has-not-fired-60-people-for-manipulating-wait-time-data/
Here's the video of the actual exchange: http://www.c-span.org/video/standalone/?c4527477
Interesting to note is that Bob, or one of his people, is reading Hadit and similar websites by his statement made in the video.
