@meg- I did have a family care plan, but the situation changed. I had one child before I entered the service and my mother has guardianship over her when I went into the service. Just to tell a little bit about my situation, I was pregnant due to MST. I was 7 1/2 months pregnant with no where to stay besides the barracks, my mother could no longer care for my daughter because of her job so now I had to care for two children. I could no longer stay in the barracks, didn't have money to put them in child care and didn't have any where to stay, so I talk to a Chaplain about my situation. I went through the steps to get a hardship discharge due to pregnancy.
I was going to just submit the form DD 149 this week and just see what happens.
