The FBI needs to look into organized crime aspects of why so many claims are getting denied. Some parties are evidently pressuring RO s into denying claims in order to funnel monies that are supposed to be paid to veterans as compensation, somewhere else. Follow the money and they will find some fats rats somewhere just gobbling down the cheese. I believe it goes way deeper that bonuses at the RO levels as the reason for the widespread denial of benefits and compensation and wrongful denial of healthcare thru deception are rampant. I think that money must be getting wrongfully and illegally earmarked for construction and technology contracts. Someone or a group of people must be pulling the strings and its been going on for a long time. Think about it.. UNIONS, CONTRACTS, CONSTRUCTION often = ORGANIZED CRIME. When you have people inside of the hospital that are doing the contracting, it is a conflict of interest. Folk can get really friendly and generous when millions of dollars in contracts are involved. That is why an outside firm, from outside our govt, needs to do a forensic audit of the spending inside the VA. every dollar accounted for., and report directly to the head of the FBI. If organized crime is found they should prosecute under the RICO laws. Find out who owns these contracting businesses and how they are politically connected . Just my opinion.

sounds like another big waste of money that will accomplish nothing, dont they think the doctors are capable enough to track the veterans health? sounds like another distance tactic to me, someone or some program to blame, to circumvent accountability.

If I recall correctly there is a law in place that requires the va to get a vet thier c file in around 30 days.

The whole benefits system is based on tactics of oppression, delay, distancing and denials. If they get an inkling that they can lower you, watch how fast they can move. you can have other claims on NOD for a long time, and they dont even give them a sniff, but if they can reduce one , its high speed fast and furious actions,.

See thats the problem, they are requesting evidence, you dont know what they have or need, its like a guessing game. It could be an automatic letter that gets sent out to cover thier ass, that way if the claim gets investigated they can say.. OH we are still awaiting evidence from the veteran, its them holding the claim up, not us.

wait till congress hears abt this..... Do one really need to send all the pertaining documents issued directly by the BVA along with any other ancillary document to my Congressman's Office, thus exposing this non-sense situation that is more than another simple lapse from the RO?

brings back memories of being stationed in germany on a field exrercise,, a guy jumped over a big log into a pit full of wild hogs and left his weapon, panics and ran about a mile before our guys caught up with him. then he couldnt find his weapon, and of course we couldnt leave until it was found. If I dont get either a SOC or DRO date at the 2 year mark,that will be around 730 days since NOD im going to get the governor involved. I believe many congressional offices sell thier souls and have no power . The RO does a favor for the congressional liason . then tell them dont ever bother them again After that the liason has to show up with thier hat in thier hand and look at the floor

sometimes the VA will keep you arguing a moot point, meanwhile the evidence that can win your claim remains elusive., The VA is supposed to look for things to help you get service connected if at all possible, but those days went out with the civil war era soldiers. I think if you get to a point of going in circles it may be time to bring in some help/ For close to 20 years, the waco regional office let me argue back and forth abt a back injury, and the argument was whether or not it was a birth defect, or an aquired injury. They kept me fighting a ghost for years, then my benefits agent pointed out, that it really didnt matter, because they never considered the aggravation of my injury aspect. Now the tables have turned in my favor big time. You dont have to totally let go of your claim, but maybe just get some help.

whatever you do dont get an ex jag lawyer near a military town . they seem to have that rank AND File mentality etched onto into thier brains, , and if the judge says NO,. THEY RUN !!! My attorney didnt say much at all, an opening statement that I found quite sparse, and that was it. He didnt argue anything, If Id known that, I would have told him to wait in the parking lot and let me do the arguing. I was not impressed AT ALL.

A trick question they ask is .. can you answer a phone. if you say yes, with no additional info .. your screwed/ you better say yes I can answer, but might fall asleep, or insult the caller, or bang the phone on the table into its in 1.000 pieces.

I wish the judge could spend a week in my shoes/ problem is this country has a certain percentage of people who are leaches on society and will never contribute one nickel of taxes to this country. So the blue collar worker bees, they dont want us to stop. keep giving till theres nothing left, then they hope you dont make it to 62 or 65 to collect your big fat SS check. The united states govt will NEVER recieve another nickel of tax revenue from me if I can help it. your right., im thinking 3 hours is realistic/

Better get a lawyer who will appeal if they lose at the judge hearing. many dont bother and play the numbers. ask the lawyer how many claims he has pushed to appeals after they have lost at the initial hearing with the judge. ALSO make damned sure your medical recored relflect your ilnesesses and injuries. this is the primary reason I lost.

If the appeal is still at the RO, it isnt even an appeal yet. So what would the signifigance of this date be?

ALOT of chaff needs to be cut away so the good plants can grow and thrive. The toxic vibe and negative energy inside the VAMCS is stifling. Its a damned shame that your pissed off, agitated, blood pressure so high your head feels like it will explode, every time you have dealings with the VAMC. There is little organization, no sense of urgency, no accountability, no integrity, just lies and excuses.
