Listen...... IF THE INJURY TO YOUR FATHERS LEG HAPPENED DURING COMBAT OPERATIONS, THERE IS A LAW THAT BASICALLY STATES THAT THE VA MUST TAKE THE VETERANS TESTIMONY AS THE TRUTH UNLESS IT IS CLEARLY ILLOGICAL AND EVIDENT THAT IT IS NOT THE TRUTH. ' Some please post the reg. The buddy statement should not even be needed and he may have what is called a CUE claim, because they did not implement the law. your father could get paid all the way back to his initial filing date. DONT AGREE TO NOTHING UNTIL YOU FIND OUT,. (d) Combat. Satisfactory lay or other evidence that an injury or disease was incurred or aggravated in combat will be accepted as sufficient proof of service connection if the evidence is consistent with the circumstances, conditions or hardships of such service even though there is no official record of such incurrence or aggravation. (Authority: 38 U.S.C. 1154(b))

New Va Pain Medication Policy
63SIERRA replied to Dolphin25's topic in Medication – Prescription Drugs-Health Issues
sertraline is an anti depressant. its ZOLOFT -
good help isnt cheap, and cheap help isnt good. What you are paying for is thier knowledge. Knowledge can be very hard earned, and very time consuming. Phil just let go a little bit, let them work it. relax and know you are in good hands. Something else you need to consider, even after winning, later down the road, the VA can always rear thier ugly head and try to reduce or revoke, if you develop a good rapport, and pay these guys fairly, they will have your back.. its a lifelong endeavor brother. The VA is surely not planning to pay 25 year old vets 3300 a month for 50 years. they will try and try, and you have to be ready.

Do Civ Dotors Belive Va Medical Records?
63SIERRA replied to maxwell18's question in Eligibility - Veterans Compensation Benefit Claims
ALSO if you do not have a premium account on EBENNEFITS GET ONE. Message in directly to your doctor and nurse/ you will have proof of the communications. they have 24 hours to respond.. the call center in my opinion is just a way for your health care team to have someone to blame when they drop the ball. all they have to say is they didnt get the message, and how can you prove the did? Everything I do with the VA is treated as a business transaction with a shady entity. -
Do Civ Dotors Belive Va Medical Records?
63SIERRA replied to maxwell18's question in Eligibility - Veterans Compensation Benefit Claims
ive had the same experience, a doctor outside the VA. and an attorney said the VA is a bad joke. If you can afford it, little by little if need be, get outside diagnosis. it can help your claim immensely. Im going to drop 200.00 that I could surely use elsewhere to counter 5 different diagnosis on my back, a inaccurate MRI reading, and the a contradictory ammended MRI reading whereas I called the Radiologist out on the diagnosis, and he started crawfishing on me and then wrote up an addendum, which makes him look even worse. So I m paying for a unfettered, unbiased, accurate, comprehensive MRI reading then I will upload it onto Ebennies, because I dont even trust my doctor to add it to my file. In case anyone has not caught on yet, one of VAs main games., is to DOWNPLAY your ilnesses and injuries, FALSIFY AND SUBSTITUTE the proper diagnostic codes on your problem list, in order to deny you care, and deny or reduce your compensation.\It is my opinion, based on personal experience that it is all tied together. EXAMINE WHAT YOUR REAL HEALTH PROBLEMS ARE AGAINST WHAT THE VA CLAIMS IT IS. IF NOT CORRECT CHALLENGE THEM. -

Dealing with the VA is like mixing a bunch of paint in a bucket, and throwing it against the wall, you never know what you will get. There is no science to thier shenanigans -

tdiu Adverse Event Disclosure
63SIERRA replied to COOL BREEZE's question in VA Disability Claims Research
COOL BREEZE keep kicking ass.. they sure need it. lying and deception has become a culture of standard procedure at VA. -
well heres your problem.. seems the VA has a big problem right now. For decades, in lieu of more expensive, chronic, extensive care for the very common skeletal and muscular injuries and ilnesses from which veterans suffer, the VA choose to prescribe narcotic pain meds by the trainload to vets. Recently the DEA cracked down, and started digging in the the doctors ass, and they are paranoid. Although a VA doc is almost impossible to fire, and many arent even licensed. a Dea agent can come put cuffs on them and escort them to the graybar hotel. The fact that you are being neglected and forced to suffer needlessly, has nothing to do with you, its the VA that created a monster, and gave out narcotics for just about any ailment imaginable. Many vets were selling thier meds, why, because they didnt really need them. They got put on long term opiate therapy for a short term injury or ilness . Doctors are cutting vets off in mass. and it doesnt matter what your pain level is. Now, the people who really need the pain meds because they dont have any better options, are being made to suffer, and pay for the VA s mistakes. This debacle has become a 2 pronged fork, because not only do they not want to provide pain medication, they do not want to provide the more costly alternative options such as chiropractic care, laser spine surgery, intense physical therapy, accupuncture, ect. Most of these treatments are effective but ongoing. VA dont like paying for ongoing care.

I learned a new word yesterday.. PROPITIOUS. one day , they will pay, and I will be propitious in my endeavor!!!! Berta I want to tell you that recently I had a spiritual awakening, I know prayer is powerful and know that God is working in my life. thank you and keep fighting the good fight,

one caveat that may affect thier scheme to reduce or deny is the fact that at least as comprehensive of a examination and testing that was used to initially award, must also be used to reduce, so if the spouse whom is now deceased cannot be examined, how can they do an examination. This is how the cockroach organization called the VA operates, they look for more intricate ways to screw the veterans over, than ways to help.

C&p Exam Physicians
63SIERRA replied to JAMES10902's question in Veterans Compensation & Pension Exams
the CP exams are WAY too important to let under qualified, often disgruntaled people make these decisions/. How is it that a person can be in the medical field for 20 years and not become a full fledged MD., Yet they act as MD s under MD s supposedly direct supervision. If a MD has the time to thouroughly review the file and supervise, and quality check the NP s work, then why dont they have time to examine the vet themselves. It should be just the opposite, the NPs should be doing the day to day healthcare for minor stuff and the MD s doing CP exams. I myself have had very elementary errors on CP exams such as having the wrong box checked, yes or no, and no being checked when it should have been yes, according to the description that the examiner themselves wrote. well guess what the m 21 reads,, the checkboxes.. coinicidence??? I doubt it. -
it sounds like they are trying to trip you up. Maybe trying to trick you into saying something that will screw you, be careful with these snakes. I would ask them why they are sending it to appeals and wasting even more time, when a favorable decision should have already been granted. The only time they ever call me is with some trickery in mind, like saying they havent recieved the evidence Ive sent, then when I tell them I have proof of filing, they magically " find " the evidence in a " wrong file". Ive been lied to so much, I dont trust anyone at the VAMC, or the RO at all.. It takes a real piece of shit to screw over a veteran, and the VA is chock full.
-
like Ive said before, you can spend 20 years learning how to fight the va, or hire someone who already has. You can still be and should be proactive in your claim but by bringing in an expert, you wont get the wool pulled over your eyes, or make an irrepairable error. Theres too much at stake to lose. Because were broken . crippled or crazy, this is now our livelyhood.

why would they need a qualified doctor when the main goal is to deny you? that doesnt take a specialist. -

Va Oig Preort Released On 14,000 Missing Claims
63SIERRA replied to Berta's question in VA Disability Claims Research
NO MATTER WHAT SIZE BUDGET CONGRESS APPROVES TO THE VA, THEY NEVER HAVE ENOUGH TO TAKE CARE OF ALL THE VETERANS.. THAT MEANS THE MONEY IS GETTING STOLEN SOMEWHERE!!!!
