I agree with the guys above, looks like another condition will be SC at 0-30%. Glad to see you made it thru the exam though. Keep us posted and good luck. God Bless

Thanks for the info, and sadly as usual same old crap, different year to come!!!

Totally agree with the advice given above. I never wait around, just file all them, and get it out of the way. Good luck and God Bless

You will drive yourself crazy with Ebenefits. It is usually not that accurate especially around the holidays. Just enjoy your Christmas and you should receive the official paperwork in the next few weeks. Until then, all we can do is Speculate and that is not fair to you. Good luck my friend, and God Bless!!!

As already stated above, I am sorry for what you went thru. As you have already stated, there were a few steps that need to be redone. I always tell Vets, that #1 you have to make sure you Get Diagnosed and Treated thru the VA, then you dont have to fight the "Who is a Better Psych Doc, the VA or Civilian Lolly Pops". Even though the Bipolar sounds bad to you, in the End really it is Helpful as the VA C&P Doc is admitting that you are Messed up and it is from your Time in Service. Good luck and keep us posted. God Bless

As stated above, I too have uploaded multiple Documents, and was never actually able to see them, but VA did confirm that they were received. Good luck and keep us posted

Sorry to hear of your issues bud. I had a few injuries and sicknesses in OIF/OEF, and a few of them were nowhere in my record. Luckily my Unit Doc at the time, was a Reservist and worked full time on the Marine One Helo as the Doc, so a letter from him meant a Thousand Words. Good luck and wish you the best. Hope you have a good Christmas.

Congrats on the Good News, and great way to Begin the next year. Good luck and keep us posted.

Hard to say, but in my case I had the VA C&P Doc state a few Diagnoses that were missed in original claim, therefore RO would either send me to another C&P for the new condition, or Have a Licensed Doc in that Specialty fill out a DBQ on their own, and send to the RO for rating purposes. Good luck and keep us posted. God Bless

It just means that your claim has been Farmed out to a Different RO that maybe has a lighter Claim Load, so that your claim can slowly move again. Very common I helped a Vet recently from Los Angeles, and his Claim was completed by the Denver RO. Just means that someone is finally moving your claim along.
-
Usually when this happens, either your claim has completed, or the RO has opened a new claim to combine to two to be worked. Good luck and keep us posted

Welcome aboard and sorry to hear of your issues bud. Good luck and keep us posted. God Bless

You are not supposed to be working my friend. I only have 70% for PTSD, but that along with my TBI, I was found "Not able to handle my Finances and a Danger to Society" so I had to Resign as a Federal Agent. 100% for a Mental Condition, basically states that a Vet has Severe Mental Condition, unable to Function Properly in Society or the Work force, due to a Threat of Harm to oneself of others. Again, I am no expert, just my opinion, that only you can decide if working is worth the Benefits and Pension that you Receive. Good luck and keep us posted.

First off Welcome aboard and happy to see another Good Vet get on the Hadit Train. You should file a VA claim as long as you were diagnosed, and continue to seek treatment. As far as a Medical Discharge, I seriously doubt it bud. Your wording states Onset of Asthma, not Chronic. If you are not currently getting health care at the VA, you should be. I have bad Asthma with black spots and scar tissue on my Lungs, yet I only get 10%. Good luck and keep us posted. God Bless and hope you have a good Christmas.

Sorry to hear of your hard times, but the Education should not have much effect on your Rating, as long as your Diagnoses is Documented and you are currently seeking treatment. I actually did not have my HS when I joined the Navy. While in I got the diploma in 2006, and from 06-13 I got 2 Bachelors, Double Masters and was working on my Doctorate, while graduating Magna. Being smart or dedicated has nothing to do with PTSD. During that time I spent 3 months in a Mental Hospital and worked 2 part time jobs while being active, as I was Geobachelor and had to keep my mind distracted. Sorry for the rambling, basically as long as the symptoms and history of treatment is there you will be fine. I trully wish you the best my friend. Good luck and keep us posted, God Bless

It is really hard to say, but again I have helped a lot of Vets where their Conditions were granted SC without C&Ps. Plus remember that some conditions are easier to Medically Grant then others. Good luck and keep us posted

Congrats on the Great news, and that has to be one of the fastest FDCs that I have ever seen. Good luck and God Bless!!

Good luck with the claim, and thanks for the info

That is normal bud, I have a ton of MH issues and they are rolled into 1 as 70% PTSD. Also my TBI is rated at 50% with my Migraines.
Mental Health C&P, can you tell me if it'll be SC and rating?
