  1. What a learning Saga.. i am still trying to show what is already transparent that i can't work. Hopefully somehow i appeal to the VA. My Dr. Wrote a letter but did not want to say i can't work. My Voc rehab refused to write a letter in support and has me scheduled for interview for IL.. lets see what happens and i hope i can start living a painless bitter life that i am right now medically and financially.
  2. I'm in similar /same boat.. but my Voc rehab said they will not write a letter as such in support of IU or whatever. They said they will send me a discharge from the college assistant soon, but in the meantime they are recommending IL and i have a interview this Friday.. what to expect?
  3. Thank you all for the comments, Voc Rehab still dragging feet, they are offering and setting me up for a IL (independent living) in part of voc rehab services. They are working on pulling me from college, however still telling me they can not comment on feasibility or unemployability. I think Voc rehab is going to do a sneak attack with comments of me stating that i no longer want Voc rehab and or college help.. they had me fill out a SOC to support my withdrawal from college and i made it clear that this is being recommended by Voc Rehab and not me saying i don't want to anymore .. wait and see were this goes from here, ill keep everyone updated. Getting call's from Voc Rehab under secretary and as i explain to them about the letter that once upon a time the Councilor said They would write then retracted that, it appeared as if there is a possibility that a letter can be typed in support because the Undersecretary could have clearly told me right then that they can't do this, but never mentioned that this was not possible... hum..
  4. Ugh.. Voc Rehab is delaying and resilient with there proposed by counter changed offer to write a supporting letter as my prev councilors email to me suggests.. We are unable to speak on your unemployability. However, what we can reassess is your feasibility to achieve a vocational goal. Apart of the reassessment is exploring the IL option and/or a functional limitation capacity. Would you be interested in either?
  5. Thank's, My Councilors Supervisor which happens to be my original intake councilor told me that they can not provide a letter or subjective comments, i told Her that there are letters out there that Voc Rehab has written and her response is.. send it to me. It sounds like the Voc Rehab want's me to indicate that "I no longer wish to continue the program" which in my eyes in going to ICE me and put a black eye against my claim. ON a side not , it is far from what i want to do it is a matter of what i can't do due to medical reasons, which originally my councilor stated she would write a letter about.. funny how the story changes.. i just need to find a whole here...
  6. Question, I am in VOC rehab, i am at 70% total, 50% is for Migraines. I informed my VOC rehab counselor that i could not continue my college after being in the program for 2 1/2 years and She said she would write a letter to me for VA since i filed for IU. Well after 6 weeks of back and forth i am now confused. My IU claim was denied based on Nero Doc stating Medz helped with headache pain.. .lie! The letter from counselor did not come in time as she went from the ill write you a letter la d da... to i have to check with supervisor, to.. you must be screened for Independent living.. so i am in disbelief also .. i think she is not going to write anything. Finally her Supervisor called me to explain Independant Living program and how it is part of Voc rehab.. she asked me if i wanted to be discharged or if i wanted to do eval for ILP, i asked if a letter of support would be generated upon discharge of College due to medical reason and she said, if you are in the program there is no discharge and no letter, basically it's either yes or no to program and ILP does not generate a letter to help in the case of IU is how i understand it. So the Councilor originally said she would discharge me based on medical conditions, i am wondering if she would just give me a simple discharge from VOC rehab because i don't want which would be counter productive to my case. I here so many stories of how Vets get a voc rehab to write a letter similar to your's but how and why am i going through all this confusion.. what is correct.. my IU got denied anyway but if the councilor would keep up on her word and saying of what she would write that's a plus.. please help someone..

  8. How Ironic, So I put in a IU claim, along with other increase/reopen/new claims and it came back June 4th. I am a 70%, the VA only gave me another 10% award for a skin condition that is on CFR supposed to be 60% but the VA like always is being stubborn. My IU claim.. i was hoping that the Councilor for VOC rehab would provide a discharge letter like they Said months ago but it did not happen and i am still enrolled in College...failing.. ONce upon a time months ago, my Voc Rehab councilor asked what i needed her to write/say in a letter of discharge.. then it got political weeks after were she said she had to check with Supervisor to see how to do this... weeks went by.. she got pneumonia and we went back and forth with the when can i get the letter and what to do with the University enrolment. as days went by , my clinical VA social worker wrote a letter saying basically i am not employable on VA letter head with explanations of the how he had seen me deteriate and reasons why. I gave this the the VOC rehab councilor and she said that VOC rehab writes things different and can't just say it like the social worker says.. ok.. waiting.. Uploaded the letter to ebenefits, no letter from Voc rehab.. who contacts me later to say i need to look into Independent living services.. wtf She tells me basically this is procedure.. well i am still confused about this other than the fact that there are tiers of this program all but one make you get on track to return to work, so all but one fits me as i am asking for IU, well again.. silence from VOC rehab, as days go by again.. Then i get the VA claims letter "Denied IU "it was determined you are capable of sedentary employment, as your headaches were controlled with medications. Well can't lie to neurology and say nothing works, i said sometimes medz work with short promises and sometimes they Don't.. this was not communicated to the VA, not surprised.. So I emailed someone and got the VOC rehab department to respond "supervisor i guess" telling me that they will get back to me to work with a Chapter 31 solution? IN the meantime.. i don't know what to expect from any discharge letter, i am assuming it is not going to say what i need or want, just probably that i want to discharge myself which is not fair, but if i get a discharge due to my medical conditions like the voc rehab promised i wonder if the VA will even consider it, so now anyway i have to do a NOD for this right? I am also trying to get a IMO from my DR. but he is hesitant... wish me luck and thank you for sharing your story fella's.
  9. Congratz , fmfdoc and to all, i have been doing this OSA for about over 2 years, it was not diagnosed in service which sux and who new what the heck was OSA in the 90's anyway.. duh.. i had a Chief Neuro from VA write a DBQ that mentioned date and time per review of SRB that i had symptoms but who is he anyway??? he was not the one there when i was in service to diag me so phew.. Now i am on 2nd DRO hearing complete waiting for dec to see if they will link a letter from in service Corpsman who gave a buddy letter on my snoring and along with other witness letters, which i hear is nothing unless it's a sworn affidavit(?) I have been diag by the chief for OSA and have been on the vador inhalator(CPAP) ever since.. still bad sleep. All and all, lets see if my Migraines/TBI/TMJ will help the decision. The funny Math.. yeah. 70 plus 50 equals 90wtf.. u r spot on Hamslice, rootbeer22- interesting how no one new about TBI and a lot of conditions back then.. they called it the bell wrong effect most likely or why didnt you were your helmet.. blah... Well i am in such a bad shape memory and concentration more than physical wise.. that i have a open IU claim that might swindle me out of any back pay for OSA if it were to happen.. a 100 IU would definitely muzzle some into forgetting about contentions and if awarded back pay coming.. VA=Vicious -$$ Got a letter about being kicked out of VocRehab due to non passing and failing grades.. i hope and pray i'm not homeless again.. Good luck to everyone.
  10. One day i will join in on the good new's ladies and gentz, until then.. hope everyone a safe memorial day coming up.
  11. Suicide will crush all and every benefit there is, it reaps no favorable promises, only consequences.
  12. Chuck75, Thanks for the feedback on SSA, i will see what happens on round 2 and if i don't make the cut then i will lawyer up. Now about Legal Shield, i would not throw it out there if i could not back them up and i can. They have helped me so much from Legal Letters to School's , Traffic Tickets, Divorce , Custody, SSA, Bankruptcy and for 19.99 not only a peace of mind but representation. I thought for years they were a scam until i hit a Legal Barrier and they were the only ones i could afford (19.99) and it changed my life and i mean that. Not trying to push Legal shield, i am just trying to help everyone out with my real life experiences. It's up to You all to take it with a grain of salt or/
  13. I't helps answer to how my Doc commented in a buddy letter, also i included how VA want's it to be In service diagnosed, furthermore it will help if i get any data back from my similar situation and i will post and you will make from it. GodSpeed.
  14. Wow.. Congradz.. i am a 70% and waiting on a TDIU claim.. i hope for the Same... SSDI denied me said i can use a phone to make calls. I am going to have a VA social worker write a letter about me being unemployable permanently and my VOC Rehab write a similar with the removal of me from the program, i hope this will help both SSDI and VA. Now to answer your question.. for now i would be out of mind and out of site with any question to VA until you try this forum and wait for someone to chime in. I would if it was me.. sign up for Legal Shield 19.99 no contract (you can drop them in a month.. but you wont"there that good" and ask them this question... Good luck and congratulations.. hope you need not fight anymore.. you did your time for USA now it's time to live life.
  15. Wow, I have the Almost similar situations, I am at a DRO hearing wait for if they will link Sleep Apnea from Buddy statements (one of them from HM1 Corpsman assigned to my unit and a DBQ from Chief Nero of VA that states in record sleepiness and it the one who also prescribed me a CPAP after his Study and diag of OSA. This request for OSA came 13 years after service, so i will let everyone no about the DRO hearing outcome.. that was done a month ago.. i might wait a couple years.. who know's but i will update the forum. My Buddy letters One from Doc stated i snored loud in squad bay on deployments, no diag of in service which it is fashionable correct that this is what VA wants and if they don't get that in service treated for OSA then they just deny.. lets see.. Same situation.. Hurry up and Wait..
  16. Question for everyone: Its about my claim for TDIU with VA. I have a claim for TDIU with VA and it's pending/Gathering of ev..etc... I am currently 70% combined- 50% is headache. -I am currently in VOC Rehab 3rd year of college with failing grades. -I was recently denied by SSA for SSDI on the basis of i can answer phone calls as my prev 2001 job so states(past) -MY VA doctor is treating me for Migraines and other illness, i am referred/treated by a Neuro for Memory/concentration issues along with my OSA and Migraines. -I have a VA Social worker that understands my ability has changed over the years and is writing a letter to VA/and VA VOC rehab Counselor about his opinion that i am permanently unemployable( he is writing in some way i am permanent unemployable) -The VOC rehab says she is onboard and waits for this letter and will follow suit with a letter in support and discharge of program as well. - I am going back to my private DR. and going to have this conversation with him and revisit the with form for SSDI and instead of him receiving papers from SSA, i will have a sit down with him and have him fill out a form about my unemployable conditions. Any suggestion and or comments would be appreciated. Sincerely, Val
  17. Hey you all , don't h8 me for all these posts.. this is the last one in this bracket... Most bodybuilders will go test every week for several weeks and then cut it off with then follow up of like a product erase pro.. then they go back, but again if you have a diagnosed low T then it's better you keep up with injections and good diet.
  18. Also Erase pro vs Test cyp.. no comparison at all.. test is better. Gnc.. only time you go in there is when they have those orange marked down stickers and or the price is equivalent to your Military discount or GNC card vs Amazon.
  19. And by the way (propecia) finasteride is a dht inhibitor, so you have to figure out how to mix propecia with test to get it somewhat right, but they both naturally counter they other at some point.. but you do get some benefits.. it's just smaller than .. a Male loosing hair and use's only propecia.. and thats it or.. A male who has not issue with Hair loss but has low t and takes test inj with no side effect of hair loss.. you just have to monitor everything with Dr..
  20. Propecia for a strait 28 months... i don't see any hair growth just maintain. I use it with Rogaine 2x a day and good shampoo.. specialized for hair loss ( no big change.. just maintaining) Test.. will make my Testosterone go from low 200's to about 1300 at times . .that's if i take it 100mg weekly( i think it should be every 2 weeks) I notice no big strength gains.. but i do notice some. ( big thing with Test Cyp from VA is that it makes you look younger, feel younger and a bit stronger.. it makes your male organ swell and hang.. it benefits those who have diagnosed low t.. in my opinion. Now i might be countering everything here with taking Propeicia 5mg and test, because i dont feel much strength as the lab test reports at times i am 3 x the normal.. and i can't see that in power movements. And test will remove most male hair and start male pattern baldness, so i think i am countering hairgrowth with test and preventing full serum range of test with propecia. Overall i will keep doing this as long as its monitored. I personally think if you eat a lot of egg white and drink a lot.. too much water then you will not have a issue with ejaculation as any side effect. Now the medication . Erase.. that is a big time weight lifters coming off of running test injections.. most take the Erase to bring there body naturally back to reg levels and if you don't have this off cycle then you can create issues, but if your over 40.. i think coming off of test and going back with Dr. is good as a stand alone. I have noticed that these test boosters from .com make you loose more hair on top of head than any anabolic on the market , in my opinion.
  21. The Chief Neuro only says in 2A Describe the history(including onset and course) of the veterans sleep disorder condition. The patient has a long history of snoring, interrupted sleep + daytime sleepiness. these symptoms are documented in his military records (7/9/99) from active duty through work up was not pursued till he left the military.
  22. I agree with everyone here, Berta you are spot on. You have to be your own advocate.. whether your VSO is tired, sleepy, Groggy , fed up or over burden don't let that get to you, make sure you do your homework at your best potential because at the end of the day it is you that cares for you.
  23. Going on my Second Non Formal non recorded DRO hearing for same issue that was denied. Just got done yesterday with 2nd DRO hearing, i thought about the appeals to the BVA but wanted a quicker turn around, also it's one last stop before you get to a point in which a Judge has more authority. Ill keep u posted.
