  1. You know, 30 months ago i was a top IT guy with more than 20 years of Experience, i had trouble even with help from haddit on how to create a new topic epic fail.. ill try again.. i just gave up.. Thanx for the un going help..
  2. Hi everyone, Can anyone comment to this scenario, I have been unemployed for 30 months and for the past 24 month's it's been because of my health and disabilities. I have been in VOC rehab for 2 years and recently filed for IU and SSDI. My case is already in prep for decision, so anything at this point might be new and material evidence and not used to decide the claim. My question is, i here some talk about having the councilor write a letter about unemployable. My councilor know's i am with struggling grades and is why i have 40+ hours of tutoring a month. I am afraid if i tell here the real truth about how frustrating it is going to school with my failing to near failing grades i have received because of my Migraines and memory loss to say the few issue's i deal with. The reason why i am worried telling the councilor is because my source of income is the VOC rehab stipend, if this is taken away from me i will be homeless again. I just got out of homelessness with 11 year old child in August 2014 and don't want that again. What's your thoughts?? should i tell the Voc rehab in efforts to support my claim? Should i wait for the decision being made before i jump the gun.. what's your thoughts?
  3. Wow,.. after reading this.. I'm in Voc Rehab and have almost borderline failing grades.. been in voc rehab for about 2 years and my conditions getting worse with grades so i filed in december IU.. i am thinking ill will now get denied based on what people are saying here due to me being in College online, i plan on talking to my Voc Rehab counselor, i am already getting 10hours a week tutor because of my grades.. hope someone can answer the TDIU vs Voc rehab question.
  4. Hi, I am dollar menu Vet who hopes to not be one anymore :-) I applied for SSDI in December 2015 and i still wait for the medical team??.. it's with the medical team whatever that stage is.. they say maybe May i get a letter or call. I have not worked for 30 months, i applied for IU but think that's gonna get shot down, even though CnP Doc said for back, knee, migraine, Impacts me, The Dr also wrote at end of Medical opinion on CnP that the conditions do not prevent me from doing sedentary type of work(Iced me :-( ) 7. Functional impact -------------------- Does the Veteran's headache, migraine, knee, back condition impact his or her ability to work? [X] Yes [ ] No Congratulations though....
  5. How is the IMO done? is there a printable form to get then give to DR. or does the Dr know what to do in general. Strange thing is i have the VA and a private that i go back and forth with.. one is 1 mile from house that i use for ease of use and the VA when it's big heavy hitting diags, scan's Mri etc.. what's on my mind is that i have hinted that i am unemployable to my private DR, but i never have had a deep conversation about it, i am wondering that when SSA sent him there form if he even knew that i was unemployable.. i might have shared my 30months without work with him but not sure.. wonder what he told SSA, i guess ill find out if and when i get him to possible fill out a IMO but how do i start off.. IMO??? Learning a lot from you all .. thanks..
  6. Gi.. i am in Voc Rehab.. i have a tutor and i am a d+ student.. i wonder if being in Voc Rehab will deny my request for IU... hum???
  7. So, i have private Dr. that subscribed me for low t.. any mention to the VA Doctors and they say.. no no no we dun do dat...man.. i hope you get some help with that, it can be so much of a drag, i feel ya on that, i am fighting the VA so much with contentions, i am not surprised they pull a fast one on ya by saying no no no.. but never kwit.
  8. Thanks for the reply, sorry for the headaches, yes the C&P Doctors was swift, Said he/she was not going to evaluate IU, OSA, Tooth.. just the increase and then Boom laid down the VA hammer on me at the end. I find it confusing if you read how the DR. remarks as unable and or "do any of the Veterans ? conditions impact the ability to work *yes* also were indications of sitting down and or standing up prevents or impacts ability and to go from there to yeah he can work.. blown... So i am in Voc rehab and to be honest for the purpose of i am a single father , out of work 30 months so far.. receiving 50% if i dropped voc rehab, i will go back to were i was 6months ago and that was homeless, i am thankful to not be there now thanks to hud-vash program who i managed to be given a voucher by way of single parent, conditions medically etc... I only hope that my C&P will not be based off of those last comments, in due i hope that all the increase's would put me at from 50% to a 100.. but that's a pipe dream. Gastone, you always have good advice, even when i used another login that was hijacked, your comments are really beneficial and Okichewy1 Thank you for the idea of having old C&P along side new C&P data.. Any other ideas from this point on is still appreciated, i will also post results.. They say that my decision is being prepared and that they are averaging 14 days. I also am waiting back from SSDI.. ill keep you all posted. Semper Fidelis.

  11. medical C&P.txtHi everyone, Its been since 2000 that i have been back and forth with VA claims, conditions have worsen and i have been back and forth with VA with contentions in ref: to increase, reopen, new and unemployability, I have not worked for 29 months i am a single parent and need help. I have applied with SSDI(pending) i have a claim for increase on several contentions (C&P) completed and is in prep for notification. I was denied 2x for sleep apnea and it's in appeals but waiting for increase claim to go first.. why? o well. IN all i have asked for what i have should have long ago.. i tried to fight my conditions w/ out working.. becoming homeless as single parent and on.. i am reaching out to you all to give me a birds eye on if you think i stand a chance for increase from my 50% per C&P data. I am sure the IU will not fly considering what the DR. Wrote at the end, even though i have so many contentions that the Dr. indicates prevent me from employment or impact it. Please take a gander and post what you think. medical C&P.txt

  15. Blue button, then Download my customized blue button data, Select range (i would do the 3 months) Select all box's.. i know theres a shorter version to get to the C&P but .. i do all you will see something like this: ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ========================================================================= **Keep in mind "this is from Valhalla0321 btw, that any VA notes Date/Time: xx Mar 2015 @ 1000 take 3-5 days to appear, but you can do a dry run if your under that. Note Title: COMPENSATION AND PENSION EXAMINATION Good Luck and Godspeed
  16. Mrs. Carlie, I commend you for sharing this with us all and i praise you for being affirmative with the right tools of language in your draft. I can only fathom the amount of anxiety this must bring to you as it has brought to me being a onward reader. I can only pray that this appeals to the eyes and ears of the compassionate with the utmost integrity. You are in fact a staple to this forum and i again appreciate your outreach to the many of us that share similar go obstacles that can only be explained in the principle of VA regulations. GodSpeed.
  17. I found out that a big if it's not in the service record, then they don't want to say but look the other way. I have had 5 DBQ's and even one from a Chief Neurologist at the VA state that he reviewed my Medical records that show sleepiness etc... even put the date of service and still the VA ignored and denied. But i think the VA pulled a scapegoat on this.. i was trying to have my OSA that was diagnosed way after service connect to be secondary to a injury of a broken nose/fall, well the Rater or VA stated that even if there was proof of this, sleep apnea can not spin off from a broken nose.. So it's hard to create that Nexus, but i believe that there are Dr. that are willing much more now to fill out a DBQ for you so don't give up.. I am not giving up on my sleep ap claim in fact, i might have realized that the VA will not relate a injury in service and connect it to OSA, one last think i am going to try is.. .... All of the Sudden.. my X rights me a email about me snoring in the Service as she was with me during this time, she sent me a email just to talk about how i am doing and on and on.. well She indicates in a email, that i always denied my snoring, my stop breathing my headaches that happened after the Injury.. and she continues to provide supporting info.. i only hope that the VA can create the nexus with this letter.. Ill keep you all posted and comment as you please... Good Luck
  18. USMC_HVEQ, Thanx for replying, I actually was let go from my 12 year job because, they removed me from a position in retail and gave me a 14 day to find another one and if i did not they would terminate me. I could not find a position that would accommodate medically .. going to appt's and therapy like my previous position so i was let go, i collected unemployment after fighting the former employer. Anyway.. i just told the C&P lady that i have not been working for 28 months, i might have said because of my disabilities etc.. but i never said i quit, well i expected a surprise from the exam and i guest i got one. I applied for SSDI, and it is currently with there medical team stage* I am just bewildered by the comments from the DR from the VA.. as every increased contention examined the remarks were that it impacts my employability .. but then make a statement like that i can do sedentary work.. wow guest that TDIU is going to go no were in my opinion .. but i'll wait.. in the mean time... your suggestions and comments like others are appreciated so i know were i might be heading in direction... Thank you for your Service everyone :-)
  19. Hi everyone I requested for a increase in about 8 contentions that are currently service connected from 0% to 30% per, a couple of weeks ago i had a C&P that i thought was the best i ever had by far.. I also asked for TDIU, the C&P exam notes were on ebene's for the past weeks and i have tried my best to pick it apart but i am a Rookie Monster and would like some help. Special inquiry to my TDIU? The Dr. per C&P Medical opinion section makes a statement that after all the comments made in my favor per condition. For example i will put a bit of the exam notes that show impact, its not all, but some conditions 14. Functional impact --------------------- Regardless of the Veteran's current employment status, do the condition(s) listed in the Diagnosis Section impact his or her ability to perform any type of occupational task (such as standing, walking, lifting, sitting, etc.)? [X] Yes [ ] No 16. Functional impact --------------------- Does the Veteran's thoracolumbar spine (back) condition impact on his or her ability to work? [X] Yes [ ] No If yes describe the impact of each of the Veteran's thoracolumbar spine (back) conditions providing one or more examples: "I can not lift and stand up or sit down for prolonged period of time". On top of it he has major issues with significant chronic headache condition. Now here is my question .. for TDIU.. i think it does not look good, but why after several "yes it impacts employability" His primarily condition for which he decided to quit working 28 months ago as a Computer Technician is chronic frequent headaches which he states also affected his ability to concentrate. His chronic constant back and chronic bilateral knees have affected his ability on weight bearing activitiees including prolonged standing/walking and sometimes driving due to pain on his left knee. The current headache frequency although is relatively is still frequent 2-3X/week from 3-5X/week with current medications his headache seems to be easily alleviated by the prescribed acute medication of Bultalbital/Naproxen. He is also bothered by the decreased concentration on the job due to headaches. His musculoskeletal joint conditions which include lower back and bilateral knee pains affects his ability to travel, prolonged standing and walking. Although still chronic, he has regular medications of Motrin 800mg BID to decreased its intensity. Without question at this time, that his impairment affects his ability to do any job which requires a lot of physical activities. At this time, with all his current conditions mentioned & considered above, it doesn't preclude him from doing any sedentary type of work. I will be willing to post the whole: LOCAL TITLE: COMPENSATION AND PENSION EXAMINATION STANDARD TITLE: C & P EXAMINATION NOTE Just let me know everyone that views this
