    Hi Shrekthetank1, I brought all of my paperwork and he did not want to see it. Sometimes it seems you just can't win...but I will never give up because as one in the Hadit family said "if you give up they win". Thank you for responding to my post.

    I am so frustrated by this...is it my figging fault I had trouble understanding a C & P examiner not from THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (no offense to foreigners) and now I am stuck in appeal h e l l ? Thank GOD for HADIT.

    Hi Baezivy, I wish I had more concrete information for you but an appeal will take as long as it takes. If I could offer advice it is to keep on top of your appeal and never give up.

    There is a shortage of GP's where we live, and a lot have gone into the concierge type of system. That is how I lost my former GP (she is now with MDVIP which costs 1800.00 per year) Talk about a two-tiered health care system.

    If (an this is a big IF) this happens, the middle class will be taxed, taxed, and taxed. Excellent world map above in Bronco vet's post. My husband (who spent time in the UK can tell you all about the two-tiered health system) was very glad to come home to the US.

    This is very interesting...maybe begin with the court case outside of the VA system, my former VA neurologist gave testimony in a court case outside of the VA system. It never hurts to be at least one step ahead of things. In a way we have to be a "secret agent" Just my thoughts.

    Hi, Have you tried Mylife? It is very intrusive with bogus information at times but maybe you will find something. There is also good old Google as well. Good luck with the ghost hunting.

    Hi, I just wanted to put this out there...Baclofen. A strong muscle relaxant that works (on me and I realize everyone's system is different) to calm muscles spasms in multiple sclerosis (MS) people. The pill is scored in quarters and when first start to take one quarter is advised.

    When I occasionally call Peggy the estimated time they give me is (and oddly each time I call) is always 518 days. On vacation and out to lunch. However, I will not give up.

    Alex, Congratulations to you for winning the claim for your Veteran!!! I remember those jet-gun inoculations when I was in Basic in 1980...I will always remember what the person who performed the inoculation said, "just relax your arm honey", Anyway, MEGA-CONGRATULATIONS!!!

    He is in love and wants to get married to the lady. I am all for love and marriage, I wonder if his intended would consider becoming an American citizen? Just a thought...

    ...just be mindful of those steroids...one of the side effects is cataracts. I have multiple sclerosis (MS) and after many many years of Presnisone for exacerbations of the disease (Presnisone both by pills and IV ) I developed cataracts. The surgery was performed by a civilian ophthalmologist who said I was his youngest cataract patient. Take care of yourself.

    Hi, Don't let him burst your bubble. Whereas I am sorry you have Muscular Dystrophy (MD), I do believe it is a disease without a cure (and I do not mean to burst your bubble by saying this) and diseases without a cure are permanent. Just be patient.

    Computer issues and passwords problems appear to be solved... Anyway, my appeal is in legacy and it has been a little bit over 1 year...I continue to wait.

    Oh goodness...really unfricking unbelievable. Maybe it is just me but it seems VETERANS are a bother to the doctors and damnit it should not be that way.
