  1. I believe it has been pushed to 2021. I would hurry.
  2. So I would search the forums here at hadit to show how to show how your service connected condition affects your MD. You need an IMO and a nexus from a doctor. Also if you are rated for any one condition at 60% you might be able to get TDUI. If you are unemployable.
  3. I am not sure you can still opt into ramp? anyone?
  4. So a little more background. did you serve in combat? Is your ptsd related to the war/s? Are you rated for anything? Broncovet is correct you need to get your treatment records, as you would be surprised what was put in there. There could be an opinion given from a doctor or someone that saw you (this is their job). To start this fight you need to have those records or you are fighting blindfolded with both hands tied behind your back.
  5. You are correct as most of mine were presumptive. I think you just need to go with what you feel (after research) your best direction. Do it soon as the longer you wait the longer it will take.
  6. So this is a tough one. I think you could try to service connect it but you need to have all of your bases covered. A nexus would help and your glucose test could also, but you could also go secondary. Anyone else seen this? Either way make sure you have a nexus-IMO-Lay statements and maybe the kitchen sink!
  7. Kevin, So a couple of things you could do. Were you seen for any of the symptoms this disease is causing? 2nd what are you rated for on disability? Does this condition aggravate those condition/s? If you can link it to other things you were seen for in service this could help. If not the a secondary condition is probably what you want to go after. How is Oculopharyngeal making (disability worse)? So I am seeing a few things on the disability rating of 60 percent and it seems this also depends on the area and what is affected. I think you have some research to do to find out how the VA rates this.
  8. So I have wondered this. Why do we need the medical opinion when it says right on the drug it could cause this effect?
  9. This is a great question and I am sure there dozens of ways to get this done. I can only go on what happened to me. I had a C&P with a doctor on PA who the VA said could do it. They ran thought the questionnaire and I answered what symptoms I had and how bad they are not on meds. For me the condition is not better if i don’t need meds to curb it. I did not have a diagnosis for PTSD prior, but after this I did This was my fastest claim they came back at 30% and I feel I should be at 50% so I have been on appeal for 5 years. I am sure someone else here could answer this better. Just my experience. Also I am a combat vet.
  10. I am under the impression the only way they will reduce is if you are on TDUI. That is were you can’t maintain steady employment because of your disability. Sounds like you are at 80 without anything else. I am at 90% and make $50k. I might soon be at 100% but still employable.
  11. Well I am not sure what all this was about but what did the letter the va sent you say? Typically an exam will be for something you put a claim in for. I do my yearly with my local va doc. She will check all of my issues and their severity. So I am not sure what this is.
  12. Here is what I found out. The US government bought you the way you were and your condition got worse, so from what I understand they own this part of you also. I had a condition prior to service and it was aggravated by other conditions or was made worse in service so they own all of it. The prior part you will get nothing. Also I don’t think it is a waste as your other conditions could go higher also.
  13. So they will tell you whatever they want to get you off the phone as they have no real idea when it will be released. Sorry
  14. You need to go see maybe a different Vso tell them what happened and get them to reopen the claim for the correct disability so it will save you earlier date. You want to keep that or you will have a very hard time getting that date if ever.
  15. So it will take whatever time they feel like getting to it. Could be next month could be 16 to 29 months. There are a ton of possibilities make sure your banking information is correct and check back less often as it will drive you crazy. They will back pay all the months so it could be a large sum.
  16. I think you might be looking at this the wrong way. The day their decision is made is not the date your claim date will start. If I am understanding this they gave you the correct date. If your eef is the date you said then there no problem.
  17. Wayne. I am no pro to this but ramp is newer. So close will probably be a bit but maybe I am wrong.
  18. You must update that ASAP! They can/will pay to your new info. After you change it I would call Debby and see if they can help.
  19. So something has happened to me before is the va loves to lose or ignore your issues if they can. You will need your SOC and see if they left them off. If this happened you need to contact your vso and you may need to file a CUE or to have them take another look. Also they could have just not addd them yet.
  20. You honestly won’t know until it comes. Did you check va.gov? My appeals have all been moved there. Also this site gives a little more info
  21. I am assuming your last appeal did not have a remand? typically this will be the hold up. Currently I am at my 1 year mark of my grant/remand I have contacted everyone I can multiple times and no one is rushing. From what I have seen is they will get to the grant when it works for them. It could also wait til your remand is completed. So welcome to the remand boat headed up current on a frozen river.
