Retirement Pay And Va Disability Pay
Hi Gurus, I'm hearing different answers on this one from non-retirees/non-VA people. Need help. If I am rated 100% schedular (not mental; can fully work) when I retire, how does this affect my retirement check? I've heard the word offset used when there is a VA check and a retirement check. Or do you get your full retirement check AND your VA % rating check (the money posted on the VA website)? Can someone please tell me how that works or where to find the info? I searched for it, but I keep seeing different answers or posts from years ago. As you can see by my questions, it's kind of hard to word what I want to say, to even search for the answer. In other word…

I Talked To Varo About Sah Program Today
I talked to Waco TX SAH Grant people today. Yesterday I sent an email asking for help. He sent back an email this AM and I called him. He was very helpful as all I really want is a grant to help me change sunken tub into walk in shower. He got my file and asked if I was worse than 1993 since I had a C&P and was awarded 30% for flat feet. He said he could not promise anything but since I have problems ambulating and the VA issued me a rollator that I might qualify for the big grant but even so they were getting close to upping HISA to 6800. I have found someone who will tear out tub replace with a floor and tile for 6000. Maybe I could update fixtures for water also…

Trying To Do My Claim But The Va Does Not Have My Records.
I filed a pension compensation claim for service connected dissability in October. I got a letter from the va saying they do not have my records that are lost. i do not have a copy of them myself but have given them the info from all the civilian doctors I say. I wanted to know if anyone had any reference to people having this situation. Know of anyone with a similar situation that was still rewarded. I am not sure if there is anything else I need to do. Please let me know.

Quick Question
Does anyone know where it says they must list all the evidence in a rating decision? Is there a rule or decsions that says the evidence not listed in the file is considered reviewed. Is there a rule that says all probative and creible evidence must be listed in the evidence section on the denial and/or discussed in the reasons and bases. In other words I believe I have read where not all evidence must be listed it is assumed that if the evidence is in the claims folder it was considered. Is this correct? Thanks
