Qq On Claim Out Of Rating Board?
Hi gang, Been helping a fellow VN vet buddy for three years now. He was informed his claim was completed from the rating board and he should be receiving the VA letter very soon. The 1-800 or IRIS will not tell him anything. Is there a possibility a claim can be denied from the rating board? I always thought when a claim is processed & completed from the rating board, it was just a matter of financial matters? Hear from anyone soon. Thanks in advance!

I also found out that you can file up to 3 years back which is a large chunk of change. im expecting over 2k so that is my cola for the year. tdiu Dental Iu Question
I am looking around for dental information on how IU p&t vets are provided for. For instance, can a vet tdiu p&t get non-va dental care? Also, will or would the VA reimburse for dental care copayments to the claim effective date? Getting copay (a few hundred) reimbursed would be good since my iu was backdated a few years. Thanks anyone for feedback, and hope this helps someone else too, Your Hadit Cowgirl

Having Progress Records Statements Stricken
Hello All, I have had some issues dealing with the striking of statements at the VA Progress Reports. At present I have had to use the Patient Advocate over the last couple of months on issues ranging from putting non medical statements in my medical reports , to not putting in atherosclerosis diagnosis into the Progress reports. The good news is that my doctor has been fired , so many lives now may be saved . LITERALLY. I will pm those who want to know more but don't want to publically say all the details. My complaints against this doctor were numerous but nothing compared to some others who really went after him and his shennagans and failure to properly treat other ve…

tdiu Granted
B) I've been sick for the last 2 week but I am back. Whoopee! I got the white envelope and was granted 100% schedular & P & T. I owe it to all u guys who put up w/ me and gave me a lot of help & support. Thx u guys and God bless u and your family. I was discharge in 8/60 from the navy and begin filing claims in 7/78. I hung in there thru all of the VA denials and until I started going on line w/ hadit and u guys were just fabulous. I am so happy. I was not granted TDIU but they increase my MDD from 70% to 100% and grnated me 10% for left L5-S1radiculopathy secondary to DDD of the spine. Plus I was awarded entitlement to SMC because criteria regarding ho…

Fixing The Backlog
Put the VA on 12 hour shifts every other month for about 2 years. When a case goes to claims, it SHOULD BE SOLVED THERE. If a case is forwarded from claims to a DRO, then if the DRO awards the case then someone in claims should have to answer as to why the case was forwarded to the DRO. The same should happen when a claim is sent from the DRO to the APPEALS process. Once all the information for a case is in, the VA should have one month to review it and get a decision to the Veteran making the claim. When you look at the VA metric. 95 percent of cases are solved at the Appeals process. That to me reveals either people at the regional office either don't know th…

The 800 # And Trying To Track Your Claim
I borrowed this from elsewhere to help members understand why you and VBA really can't accurately track the status of claims with either the 800 number or Iris. I am posting it for informational purposes only and closing it to comment. This was authored by cruiser. "you guys shouldn't be trying to track your claims as they move around the Regional Office like you would track a UPS package. It doesn't work that way. A claim at VA doesn't necessarily move in a linear fashion like a package does nor does simply knowing where a claim is at a given point in time tell you why it is at that location or where it is going next. VA personnel are supposed to scan…
