Peripheral Neuropathy
While doing some additional research to support my NOD I came across a BVA case dealing with scars. The vet was awarded a claim for peripheral neuropathy of the leg and the symptons were almost the same as mine. I then looked up some causes and based on my C&P exams I submitted a secondary claim.

No Rep On Appeal
Well got the iris about who was representing me on my appeal though the law firm i had before is listed they are not repping me as far as i know. I only used them one time and claim was decided before they could do anything , they are a good firm as they said i did not owe them anything. So on the iris they sent me the download for the form 21-22 power of atty . So i guess my claim has been up there months and months with no representatin. Good thing i checked about this i guess. Now to figure out who to get to represent me.

Still Learning Need Advice
I filed a NOD about my claim on my back, about a month ago they sent me a form 9 to fill out. I went to my VSO and he helped me fill it out. Basically it just said to look at C&P dated such and such because it wasn't listed in the evidence. Going off that C&P it clearly shows that I "rate" the next larger percentage. Well today I got a letter about travelling section of the BVA. Now for my questions.....what is the traveling section of the BVA? Why don't they just look at the "new" evidence? Is it possible that they would just look at it and say "hey your right" and increase my rating? Thanks

Remand
I had a BVA hearing in 2008. In April 2009 I received a denial for Sleep Apnea and the Illonginial hernia neuralgia was remanded. In July a doctor who was working for the VA, but now is in a private Sleep clinic looked at my records and stated I definiately had sleep apnea during my periods of active duty. She wrote a letter to that affect and I submitted it through DVA and BVA agreeed to look at the letter and make a decision. I cannot find anything about the remand. Do you know about how long these take. I was told they could take up to several years. I also have in my records several eposides of Gastitits documented. I developed Barrett's and submitted for this in Oct…

I am contemplating filing a claim for increase, and when i filed for increase before i had a lady from state who is with american legion who really seems like a dedicated person. She is suggesting i have american legion rep me in case of an appeal i would be represented nationally. I cant say enough good things about this lady, she always answers my emails and seems to know what she is doing. I am thinking of taking her up on her offer to let the legion represent me. The main thing, i would like for her to be the one representing me.
