Benefits
Met a veteran that served in vietnam. He recently had heart surgery, was diagnosed with DMII long time ago and now has had his Drivers Lic. taken away because of blindness from DMII. This vet spent 18+/- years in army, then worked for civil service for many years, was in army reserves many years, I think finished up as a master sargent and he is currently retired with a combined retirement but draws social security. He is bronze star for valour recipient. He has never filed a claim for disability except he got a settlement for hearing loss back in the 70's. He is afraid to file the claim because he doesn't want to loose his SS, he lives pretty tight to the budget…

Hello From Pysch Ward
I am in the pysch ward again, using the pc in the library, I have limited time on the pc and dont have time to do research for myself. I need to prove something to a doctor. If a doctor (Physchiatrist) writes a letter that says in his opinion because of my disabilities I can not work what is that letter worth as far as getting % raised to 100% ? is there anything in the CFR that references such a letter or opinion? The doctor tells me such a letter is worthless and I know better. I would like to print something from the CFR to show him. Also can someone provide a link to the cfr for me as I dont have the time to search for it. I am lucky to get on this computer…

Carpal Tunnel
I have a question about carpal tunnel. I was in the National Guard 20 years, as a admin specialist. I worked as Federal Tech (working in a armory 7 my only active duty was in ODS) for 10 of those years. Now two years after I get out I have carpal tunnel. Can I file a claim? I have no record in my file, no LOD but I know its causes from years of typing. Is there anything I can do or just suck it up and go on???

Cavc Web Site
http://www.vetapp.gov/ still all the info there - and a nice new layout-with a step by step page as to what the court does etc- you can email them under Judge Greenes comment if you like it (or dont like ) I mentioned why I liked it- the two most recent decisions are right on the home page- They had a nice ticker when the Haas decision came down but I am sure glad that recent decisions will be probably be posted at the home page right away- I remember the days when I would have to call the court, give them the docket number of the case I needed,, then they would fax me the case, and then I would have to send them a few bucks- things sure have changed.

Va Shows Me Rated At 10%-but Forgot To Tell Me!
I have a claim in to the VA for my heart. I am currently in "Ratings" since Jan 1, 07, to see if I am SC for my heart. I just returned from an appointment with my VSO. He called the VARO and they told him that I was already SC at 10% for my heart condition. Nobody at VA has ever told me that I am SC for my heart and I have not received my 10% or any money from the VA or anybody else for over 40 years. I received a medical discharge for my heart from the Navy in 1966. At that time I received approximately $37.00 or $45.00 a month (can't remember exact amount- 40 years ago) This was compensation from the Navy or VA for disability. I received this amount for approximately…

Double Posts
Dear Hadit Members I have had to delete several double posts and even triple posts. All had no response if it was a topic. I think that the problem is sometimes after a Post there is a web page error and the Poster goes back and clicks add reply again. If you get a posting error please go back to the page and refresh to make sure it has not posted. One of the problems with a double post is that it can fragment and have a different life of its own. I have only deleted duplicate posts. If anyone wants I will be glad to try and help anyone who is having problems with the Board just keep in mind that I am self taught like most here.
