1. ptsd Where To Start?

   I got word of my increase to 100% in February. The Postal Service was already talking about all the issues currently ongoing, including early retirement. At the time I was logically unable to do disability retirement because obviously I could still report to work and do the same repititious job I've been doing for years. My processing facility has since been given notice that processing operations will cease May 19th and for the most part will close June 30th. Within the next 32 hours I need to bid on a newly posted job. There are positions for 56 people in my city and I am 55th on the list. 3. Filing A Claim With Social Security

   SInce I have so many, many medical problems that are mostly VA ratings, I am wondering about filing a claim with SS. Since the latest are sleep apnea, not connected yet, as well as NP and carpel tunnel along with the cardio rating that gave me a 60% rating just alone, what are my chances of getting a medical disability with SS? I know I certainly shouldn't be working as I try to leave early every day from the issues from my prostate(every hour bathroom during day, and 1/1/2 at night along with drowsiness from sleep apnea even though I use the cpac machine. And if I apply, should I just use all the medical reports from my doctors to support the claim. I keep hearing it …

8. Ss Disability

   Just received copies of SMR that was requested 2years ago and I guess that open claim kept them from sending them out. Already had up to 2001 and now have up to date.in march2012. I was awarded ssdi in 2004 for COPD and secondary diagnosis of osterorthrosis and ALLIED DISORDERS. So now I am trying to decipher those records to find out what to do with CAD, HTN, Pain Right Hip and Low back area.. Got 40% for the low back from VA, but no one seems to know what is wrong with right hip pain down to scrotum is caused from.

9. Regular Ss Versus Ssd

   I looked up an old friend today and he has me confused. Story goes as follows: He is service connected 100% P&T since 1996. I asked if he was getting SSD. He said he was denied SSD because of lack of credits. Here's where I am confused, he is drawing regular SS (about $800.00 per month) from his earlier work history. I was wondering if anyone else here at Hadit has turned regular SS into SSD. If so how? Thanks.

10. Ssdi And Va Payments?

    So I got a permanent password for social security online services and on there it says I will get 816 every 3rd Wen of the month. I get 80% from the VA right now but am at the end of my claim for IU. 1: Can i get SSDI payments and IU or 80% from the VA without them offsetting each other? 2: Does SSDI do back pay? If yes, then will they go to when I filed with them or when I became unable to work?

11. Proof Of Your Spouse

    VA sent a letter to me for verify my wife SS #. We have been married for 15 years and she never updated her SS card. I got the SS-5 form online and filled it out and she sign it. The question is can I take this form to the SS office with our marriage license and get her new card and the letter from SS administration showing correct SS # with out her being there!

    There Dotor's and other people in the state agency who are trained in disability evaluation. They said because not sufficient to support my condition's were disabling prior to 12/31/00 when my period of coverage ended! I had to two heart attack's and had diabetes II before 12/31/00, agent Orange was already working on me!
