Cardiac Ablation
Howdy, Masters of the VA system, I'm not sure if you can answer my questions, but I thought I would ask anyway. Here's some history on my issue. I've had cardiac issues for many years now: On blood pressure meds for 15 years due to high BP/rapid heart rate. Since about 2004, I've noticed increased palpitations. I got checked in 2005 and had a holter monitor done and I had approx 7,300 Premature Ventricular Contractions (PVCs) in 24hrs. The doctor (Internal Med) didn't know what to make of it since all my other basic tests were normal. I was stationed overseas on an island, so the docs were limited. He said maybe it was anxiety and I should go see a psychiatrist…

How Do They Notify Me Next?
Hi all, Filed my paperwork July 1, got my C & P exam Sept 1. I know, and the examiner confirmed that I will get service connected disability for my prostate cancer residuals. When they have finally figured out the amount, how am I finally notified? Does it just show up in my bank account one day? Or do I get a packet of paper that explains the compensation amount, and then wait another couple months? Appreciate any info from anyone who has successfully been through the entire process.

C & P Exam Diagnosis
First let me give a little back ground, I have had knee pain, ankle pain, back and neck pain, and a digestive disorder for about 10 years now. I just recently filed a claim with va 3 years removed from service. I was diagnosed in the military with numerous sprained ankle and later chronic ankle pain and attended physical therapy. I was also diganosis with ITB strain of the knee. Also was chronic mechanical neck pain which I also attend physical therapy and was given a TENS unit, and finally gastoenteritis. The va doctor for my C & P diagnosed knee tendinitis, ankle tendinitis, early degenerative disc disease of the cervical spine, and Irritable bowel syndrome. …

ptsd Early Benefits At Discharage
Alcon, I recently retired from Fort Campbell and I've received a 90% rating on all my other issues. The VA had deferred judgement on my PTSD and my TBI. I have since traveled to the VA hospital for 3 different appointments in which I've seen muliptle doctors and received in depth testing for the TBI. This was in July and August 2009. My question is since I'm already at 90% what is the chance of receiving 100% with these two items still remaining to be included in the total? Also, I am working as a regional safety coordinator now for a corporation....I won't be forced to quit will I? I don't want the "can't work" designation....I'm only 40...as much as I love m…

Stimulus Payments
I did not recieve my stimulus payment and called the 800 number and reported it. I was told there was a committee that was hadling these claims and my information would be forwarded to them for review. I was called a few days later and told that I was entitled to the payment and a notice was being sent to the Treasury Dept to issue my payment. I am thankful that they realized there was an error and they are trying to fix the error. However, I still have not recieved anything. Is there anyone else out there with a similar situation and have you received your payment yet? I'm trying to get a feel for how long it should take as well as let other Veterans know that the i…

How Do I Get Re-evaluated?
Hello. I am a Marine Corps veteran that was placed on the TDRL due to rheumatoid arthritis. The Marine Corps rated me at 40% disability and the VA has me at 60%. One of my major complaints is they diagnosed me with tinitius in my right ear at 10%. The ringing is not always there, but I ALWAYS have a very difficult time hearing out of that ear. I need to get that fixed. The other problem is while I was in my wife gave birth to a premature baby girl. She was 1lb and 11inches long at birth. She passed away after 6 months in the hospital. We finally had to tell the doctors to pull the plug because the machines that were keeping her alive were also slowlykilling her. I still h…

Forthcoming C&p X Outcome Of Ankle&foot Claim
Hello Folks, Afater a long time span I finally received the outcome of my claim that was filed in February 2009 for the "left foot condition" and "left ankle condition", both secondary to my left leg condition. For my dismay the two separate conditions for what I had two separate C&P exams and two separate diagnoses/prognosis given by the C&P examiner wherein the C&P examiner clearly stated that "left ankle => strain and pain" and the "left foot => strain and pain" the VA simply decided on its "Reasoning for the Decision" to turn both conditions into a single condition and distort its own C&P examiner conclusion stating the following: "left an…
