Champva Eligibility
THANK YOU SO MUCH for making the SVR shows available in the archives! I had no idea there was so much information available there! I was just listening to the one on CHAMPVA and I was surprised to hear that the Veteran does NOT have to be 100% P&T, they only have to be P&T for a SC rated disability, no matter how low the rating is. This got me thinking.... my husband is SC at 80% for injury to his shoulder and extensive scarring from an in-service MVA. I Need To File An Increase
I currently am geting 10% for the following issues that are currently aggrivated: neck strain, degenerative joint desease, shoulder strain. I have been going to physical therapy to help this as well as a chiropracter. I have tried acupuncture traction, heat and ice, pain meds, lyrica (Max dose), anit-inflamatory. Went to the VA ER because I couldn't feel my arm or hand and he told me nothing was wrong. So I got a copy of the MRI (only to find out I had bulding at c-7/t-1 and made an appointment with an ortho doc and they got me another MRI of my brachial plexus. A Couple Questions
I am presently waiting for a reply for a NOD to be re-rated because doctors said i was very under rated for a 3 level cervical fusion and DDD and from what i have read on Hadit it is better to wait until it is finished before sending in any new claims. hubby is completely unemplyable due to non sc stroke...tho has 20% SC rate on arm laceration....waiting on rate increase info since sept 2011...can he get a rating smaller that 100%..but still get paid at 100% rate due ti IU? he gets military retirement currently....he is totally disabled by stroke..and connot do any work at all...he is 73 and never retired really........as he was realtor and security guard at time of stroke..explain to me how IU would work in his case..thank you

hypertension Why Is The Va Scheduling C&p For Increases Of Sc %
Hey I have been to 3 C&P exams this week but not one of them are related to my current claims? It is hard to belive the VA would do anything to help me get the last 10% needed for 100%. My claim for A/A is going to bee moot until I get an answer on the current appeal for TDIU I just sent in my 3rd letter from my surgeon concerning my SC lumbar fusion. I have had an C&P exam for SC hypertension, Hearing Exam, and next week Nuerological exam for SC migraines. I am on oxyegen theraphy right now which has helped my trips to the ER but so far I have ran out of oxyegen twice and had to get the number of cylinders increased twice but I am glad that the oxyegen helps ease…

Shed A Little Light Please!
I just called the 1800 # and the rep tells me that my file has been pulled (looked at) on the 5th, 7th, and 8th(today) of this month..can anyone please shed a little light on this situation and whats going on...I asked the rep if she would elaborate and she stated that was all she was able to see...Note: I'm still at the rating board and have been there since 10/20/2010 and my entire claim is now going on 1 year (started 5/6/2010)!! Can someone please help I'm stressing out at the fact of simply "not knowing" as to what this means or could mean!!
