ptsd Denied After C&p Gainesville Fl
Had my hearing C&P, results, Alcohol abuse. The Dr a PHD hammered on a DUI I had in 1971. I admitted to 1-2 drinks a nite to sleep sometimes. He wrote that I drank as much as I could every nite. I was given two tests and he said results I was faking symptoms. The tests were facial recognition. He said I was uncooperative. The C&P was at Gainesville Fl with a PhD. Roger Davis. My VA Health records show 1-2 drinks on occasion, or 1 8oz glass of wine. He did not ask me anything about my problems. He made me feel I was a criminal. Since my Honorable D in 1971 from the Marines I never missed a day of work, drank in bars, lost a job or hurt anyone. Has anyone else met w…

ptsd Thought Dbq's Were Supposed To Eliminate Need For C&p Exams
Hi everyone. Haven't been here in so long. Haven't been online in a long time - just not up to much of anything these days. Funny how you think you'll be okay and start living "someday" but then you look up and "someday" was two years ago... So about the DBQ's. I thought if we got doctors to fill them out and submitted them, we'd be doing the VA a huge favor and saving them the cost of providing C&P exams. At least that was what my VSO thought and when I filed my claim for an increase to my rating for my feet, and to SC my irritable bowel as secondary to PTSD, I had my doctors fill out DBQ's. They faxed copies to the VARO and also gave me copies for my …

Did I Make A Mistake C & P Exam?
Folks: In order to be proactive and speed along the FDC process, I got with VA to do 12 C&P-FDQ's with the contentions I was filing. I have very extensive records and excellent evidence. Anyway, I had two appointment dates with a VA nurse for about 7 Contentions for each day. Much like during my military days, I thought that they would be done correctly and without any bias? But not so, one of the glaring problems was that the nurse took me way past the point of pain for the Range of Motion measurements? My understanding is that they're supposed to end the measurements where pain begins? Frankly, after, over about 30 years of back/neck exams, no doctor doing an exa…

ptsd Up Coming C&p For Ptsd Review
I have an upcoming C&P exam for PTSD increase next week. I'm currently rated at 50% PTSD, for a total of 80 % combined rating. I received SSD for PTSD and Back in 2008, but was initially denied PTSD because the VA did not consider the SSD award. I appealed twice and now receive the 50%. I was advised by a VSO to put in for increase because of the SSD award, so I did. While going through the process, I was denied by Voc Rehab for re-training because of the SSD award stating PTSD. My VA Pychologist did a DBQ saying I'm unemployable, as well as an out side Pychologist who trains the Voc Rehab Counselors. I submitted all this to the VA, so my question is..... 1. Should …

ptsd C&p Exam / Rating Questions
Hey guys, I've been lurking here for awhile, figured I'd join in on the discussion. Last year I did an FDC claim for PTSD, after going to see a VA Pysch for almost a year (at the insistance of my family). She diagnosed me with PTSD, and encouraged me to go thru with a claim. On the 7th I had my C&P exam. The doctor didn't ask very much....just if I was single, and why, if I drank a lot, etc. When I got up to leave after he was done (like 10 minutes), he said that the VA asked him to answer two questions: Do I have PTSD, and did my service in OIF cause it. He said he felt I had it, and that service in Iraq was the cause. I forgot to do my in person au…

Remarks From The Bottom Of My C&p Exam - Shoulder
Veteran's current diagnoses: Posterior superior labral tear, supraspinatus tear and cubital tunnel syndrome are a progression of his service connected disability. In the absence of an MRI initially, his diagnosis was made clinically and did not reflect on his MRI findings of a labral and supraspinatus tear. The cubital tunnel syndrome is a new finding which occurred after his laproscopic surgery and is related to his left shoulder condition and or tretment of his left shoulder condition. What does this mean? Is this the proper wording for my request for increase (shoulder sprain and bicep tendonitis) is what I originally was given 10% for. Thank you.

C&p Exams All Done
Hi all, I am new here and have a quick question about my C&P exams. I have many, and can copy and paste them all here if need be, but they all state: Does the Veteran's wrist condition impact his or her ability to work? [] Yes [x ] No Does that mean that I wont be rated for any of these conditions?

My Audiology C@p Results
Right 20 60 80 80.....average 60....speech discrimination 42 Left 20 80 75 65...average 60....speech discrimination 52 I crunched the numbers and looks like I should be 50% for hearing loss plus my ten percent for tinutus. Va math is 55 that rounds up to a 60% rating This has been a ten year battle and it looks like I may finally be rated fairly 2004...medically discharged due to hearing loss. Va gives a 0% RATING for hearing loss 2008...VA GIVES 20% RATING for hearing loss 2009...VA GIVES 10% RATING FOR TINITUS.. 2011... Va gives 30% rating for hearing loss 2014...looks to be 50% for hearing loss unless Ive done the math wrong

Just Had My Exam ...
Morning all.. new to the forum. Filed for disability comp and pen February this year. Just had my exam Friday for my lower back. Had several documented back episodes while active duty, USN, stationed on my ship. Now separated. Actually been separated since 2000. Several document episodes while civilian at the VA hospital. Had and MRI administered by VA hospital that showed bulging disc L5 S1. Had injection in disc several years ago. I guess you could say there was the "nexus" of injury sustained while on active duty now causing problems. While I was in the office with the examiner, she pulled up my X-rays I took 1 day prior to the exam, and there were notes …
