New Hearing Test Next 21 Aug
Well here I am sitting here and got my mail today and I got another C&P on my hearing. Now that not the problem, the problem is where I will have to travel to take it. I live in Midland Ga. and my test is in Ft. Rucker Al.. I live about 30 miles from Ft. Benning Army Base and maybe 45-50 from Tuskegee AL. where I normally would go since that is where it all started. So can anyone tell me why I have to travel well over 100 miles for this. And the appointment is at 11:00 AM. Thanks for the support on this site

C&p Appointment-Didn't Know-Kept Appointment?
There were a few of my contentions that went to remand, so I checked my appointments on ebenefits and apparently there was an appointment last week that just popped up. I didn't know about it, so I was going to call to reschedule, but it says that I kept it. Has anyone had this happen? And should I take any other steps? Thanks in advance. -Mario Rivera

Scheduling C&ps
Last month my husband's reopened/reconsideration went to "pending decision approval" then about two weeks later went back to "review of evidence". Peggy and DAV say that on Aug. 9th C&Ps were ordered. We still have received no notice of appointments. Does this usually take long to get scheduled? My husband's one year date to file a NOD is coming up on Sept. 19th and we wanted to wait as long as possible on filing in hopes the reconsideration would be decided. Thanks, Kate

ptsd All C&p's Done At Once
After yesterday's decent PTSD I was hoping for a good exam today. I hate to say today wasn't so pleasant. I had my initial C&p for all claims done at once. The Dr. Started by sitting in front of the computer and asking some questions. He kept asking if my claimed condition were in service. I had to tell him multiple times I retired from the USMC just last month after 20 years and every condition was in my medical records from both military and civilian Doctors and we're submitted to the VA. He acted as if he had not reviewed any medical records. He then proceeded with what appears to be the normal ROM test. However, he would only once in awhile take an actual measur…

Two C&p Two Weeks Ago.
One was for sleep apnea(secondary) and for instability in both knees. Know I will have to do appeal on the SA but was expecting that. On the knees, already rated at 10% each but the way the DR was talking he thinks my left shouldn't be rated so may get screwed there. Actually having a somewhat decent day as far as knees(no swelling that day) Two days later had exam for MDD. When we were done she was explaining that she would finish writing it up, QTC would review and then send to rater. She stated that I should be getting an increase. Not rated for it at the moment but from looking at the CFR, I have symptoms from both the 50% and 70% so will have to wait and see. …
