Should I Be Worried?
My C&P exam is coming up next week, which has been outsourced to QTC. I was searching for directions to the doctor's office and decided, out of curiousity, to see what other information the web may have to offer about him. I saw some reviews (4 or 5) about vets that had been to see him for thier C&P exams, and the results were not to reassuring. They said he was completely unprofessional, one patient even stated he left the appointment early to get a haircut while the assistant finished up the exam. A few of them said he completely disregarded and, in some cases, didn't even review their VA medical records. Obviously, I don't want to go into this with a negat…

Exam
I recently went to my first VA appt since retiring from the Military and I must say I was glad to see how I was treated. I am 100% Sc and I heard all these stories about how they will try and reduce your claim and I must say that didn't happen. I went in and she asked me a few questions about my conditions and after 3 hours she stated "o.k, we will see you in one year". I am glad that I don't have to keep going back month after month. Break My friend retired from the Army in Jan 2011 and he haven't received his rating back, he lives in Georgia and as much as we been digging and asking questions, no one from GA has received there rating back if they retired in 2011. …

Qualified Doctors Or Quacks?
I had filed a NOD (Review with a Dro) because i disagreed with the ratings i was given from my C&P exam because the doctor took here hands and fingers and forced my head and back down to get measurements and did not ask me to walk or ask me to repeat movements. Well after 8 months i received a call from VA for another C&P exam they told me it was for an increase request which probably is in my favor because if they were told i said i complained about the first doctor it probably would of been against me. Well this doctor seemed a bit better and used a measuring device however he asked me do i wear a brace and i showed him i am wearing a Thorocumblar Brace for my …

ptsd Not Sure What To Make Of This
I will try and make a long story short. I am a female, active duty USAF for eleven years and then the Reserves for the next nine years. When I got off active duty they did not brief us on the VA and I had no idea I could file for compensation. Some of my medical records are missing but the ones they have contain a lot of the important information. A friend from active duty came to visit and told me I should consider filing. I went to the local Veteran service center and they helped me fill out the paperwork. The guy was great and spent many hours with me. I began getting panic attacks on active duty (well documented) and have been treated for them since. When he a…
