Hey guys, so I went to the local ROI office here in Las Vegas and got copies of all of my C&P and my medical records. I want to post my C&P from my PTSD exam so you guys can look at it and tell me what you think the VA will give me based on what the Dr. has said. Bva Remands And C&p Exams
Sometimes veterans have a C&P exam, but the results may include diagnosis of additional conditions not originally part of their claim. When asking if the additional conditions could be part of a new claim, the response usually is to file a claim for the new condition and if the claim is won, the effective date would be the date they filed, instead of the original C&P exam date where it was diagnosed. Please take a look at the following BVA C&P exam remand instructions: Do a general medical to determine the nature and extent of all other alleged disabilities. The examination should include an evaluation of, but not limited to, the above mentioned disa…

Help Needed
Greetings all. I am a neophyte to all this and even have a rep from the Dept of. Vet Affairs here in Maryland help with the paperwork. I was sent for a C&P exam about a month ago and both my long-term treating psychiatrist and the C&P examiner said I was "100% and permanent" and have heard nothing since. I also had a letter stating I was unemployable....the whole nine yards-all form my treating doc. (It was his suggestion I ask for 100%). I didnt realize there was another step in this process-something called a "rating board" or something. Anyway, who would disagree with both doctors? (rhetorical) I would like to know from any others what kind of wait for any kind…

Ethical Concerns?
I had my Compensation and Pension exam done at the VA that I currently work at. Is that an ethical concern? Other co-workers have had to go to another VA facility to have their C&P exam, not sure why I wasn't. I notified the VA via the 800 number, they said they've never heard of someone having their C&P exam done at the VA Facility that they are employed at, but I certainly did. Trying to research rules and regs regarding this without much luck...any advice, please?

Bilateral Comment On C&p Exam
All, Since my "Hearing loss" post was a bust (I figured it out on my own), lets see if I can do better this round: Have a claim pending for an increase for my right shoulder, I was originally rated bilateral both shoulders "shoulder tendinopathy" 10% each. Had my C&P for my right shoulder increase. C&P doctor examined my right shoulder while comparing it to my left shoulder. VA (?) sent claim back to C&P doctor for clarification. ***"on examination it was noted that he also had bilateral AC joint degenerative arthritis. Neither shoulder currently include arthritis in the diagnosis." ***"After a review of the evidence, please discuss the f…

Qtc P&c Exam
All my C&P exams have been with QTC, and when I ask for a copy of the report, they always tell me that I will need to get it from the VA RO. That, I understand. But, I have read on other post that you can get copies of the exam through your local VA hospital, or is this for people that had the exam done at a VA facility? Papa

Claim Deferred
Found out yesterday my claim was deferred because they needed clarification. They wanted to know simple questions like which foot hurts etc. When I called I was able to give all the information over the phone and they said that should take care of it. I have a couple of questions about this. 1. Why did they defer all claims if they only had questions about two individual claims. 2. I don't understand why they have questions at all. I clearly wrote what my problems were and what they wanted to know was already brought up in my C &Ps.

Had The C&p It Went Good
Hi all, Well I had my C&P yesterday (requesting an increase in Depression) It went good. Very caring thorough Doctor. At the end she told me that I DID fit the 100% category for Depression and she felt it was permanent. I am already 100% P&T for 6 combined ratings, this is where the VSO and I disagree. If my depression is increased to 100% and I have 5-other ratings that add up to approximately 85% (50, 40, 30, 20, 20, 1.3 for bilateral) Wouldn't I qualify for SMC-S ???????? Thanks, David
