Getting Anxious Now
5 more hours and I will be in the examiners office doing my c/p mental exam. i stayed up till 4 in the morning because i was thinking about this day. wasn't nervous until now, I'm getting pretty anxious. good thing wife is coming, but same time it be tough because i would have to share my experience of iraq which i do not like to talk about. been almost 7 years since I felt the heat of iraq; yet i can feel it every single breathing day. on a good note I heard nothing but good things about the examiner, but do not want to be naive about it. I will be open, but I hope I won't go in one of my outburst spells. No I will not. I know they are there to help. I wish I can …

ptsd Ptsd Iu
This is a followup to prior question. I had my final C&P exam a couple of weeks ago. Phychlogist stated she recomended P&T and and agrees that I should be PTSD IU or better. Before this exam I was rated 50% ptsd, 80% total. I know the regional office has all the info. they asked for. How long should it take for them to finish the process and send final answer to this claim. I recieved letter from VA yesterday that my claim was still being processed. I have been out of work since Nov. 21,2010 on recomendation of my private phychiatrist. I am now working with DAV, don't know how thats going to pan out. THANKS

This is one of 6 letters of denial from the VA I finally gave up on that heart claim, but i am trying to reopen this claim with this DOCTOR statement heart and echo report proving my heart is normal [or at least i think so. ptsd C&p Bs
Let me start it all off with my C&P results. AXIS I - PTSD, Chronic alcholhism in remission AXIS II - Deferred AXIS III - See Medcial Records AXIS IV - Served in Vietnam AXIS V - GAF 70. It goes on to list all the symptoms and that I have "PTSD related to his conceded combat experience". The only actual paper test I was given in this process was something called a SIMS and it said that that my responses were NOT INDICIATIVE OF HONEST REPORTING or MALINGERING. Mother F*******. What else can I do, take my brain out and show them ? Being on an LZ that was overun with 50+ brothers killed, +150 wounded and OVER 100 GOONERS killed was something I saw in a …

ptsd My Ptsd C& P Is Coming Up And I Need To Know What Medical Records I Need To Take And Any Other Preparation I Need To Do!
I have my PTSD C& P exam coming up on March 8th. I have been going to my local VA CBOC since 09/10/10 with the mental health specialist. She has already diagnosed me with PTSD. I have asked her a copy of her records to take with me to the exam and was told that they will look that up then. I am afraid that they may not want to take the time to look all of it up. When I go to the VA on Wednesday of this week, I am going to print out all of my progress notes to date. Then on the 4th, when I am there also, I will print out any other visits that I have until then. Will this help if I take these in for them to see? Also my wife wrote a 21-4138 statement on how it is …

Cpap Compliance Checks
Hello All, I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and provided a CPAP while on active duty in 2007. I retired later that year and VA granted the 50%. I'm still using the CPAP I was given over three years ago on AD. VA has never asked anything about my CPAP equipment or checked for usage compliance. I would like to say that I have a love-hate relationship with my CPAP, but its mostly hate. I start the night with it on most nights and usually tear it off at some point in the night. I've read that non-compliance with CPAP use is somewhere between 29 and 83% and that a large percentage of the machines end up sitting in a closet collecting dust. I use mine, but there is no w…

C&p Done
Hello everyone, I filed a claim in July, and had my C&P in August according to ebenifits they have received all required information and my claim is in the development phase and has been for approximately 8 months. I have heard nothing from the VA, can anyone give me an estimate on how long it takes to move to the determination/award phase? Should I wait or go back to the regional office here in Phoenix. Any advise? Thank you Garry T MSGT USMC (ret)

C & P Coming Up
I've got a C & P exam coming up for sinusitis. It looks like it will be with a doctor contracted through QTC. The questionnaire I got from QTC addresses my sinusitis but it also mentions headaches. My claim I sent into the VA didn't specify headaches. I may have mentioned my sinusitis causing headaches but I didn't specifically say I am filing a claim for headaches. I really don't care except I am already 30% for migraines. Would headaches caused by sinusitis be considered pyramiding with my migraines or could this adversely affect my 30% for migraines?
