On this page http://www.vba.va.gov/bln/21/Benefits/exams/index.htm I got this The page cannot be found ( http://www.vba.va.gov/bln/21/Benefits/exams/disexm53.pdf) It seems like there is a pdf for all the exams except for the spine. Thanks.

New C&p Exam Forms Information Found
I was doing a little research this morning and came across this directive. I have seen previously where others have had problems finding the Spinal Exam (disexm53.pdf) Worksheet. I believe this directive is why. If you read the entire thing, there are some encouraging directives to VA Med Centers to have your own VA Primary Care or Specialty doctors fill out the same exam sheets that the C&P examiners use, but for our use in filing or substatiating a claim with VA, SSDI or whatever. I may be wrong, but this seems huge to me? I've had doctors be reluctant to fill anything out for me in the past and I suspect it's because they're afraid or just don't know what their al…

Knee Pain Only-C&p Exam
I had a knee injury on active duty in 1982 and it was recorded in my medical records. It has bothered me over the years with pain only when I climb stairs or get out of cars. Allthey did then was give me motrin. I've never claimed it, I just live with it. I'm older and heavier now and it bothers me now EVERY time I climb stairs or get out of a car. I have full movement. Can I file a claim? Will it get anywhere? Thanks

tdiu Followup Qtc C&p Exam ?
I was rated 10% for a reconstructed left knee in 1975. Over the years of walking with a limp, I have developed low back and hip pain primarily due to arthritis and DDD/DJD. I have been recieving medical treatment via the VA since 2000 for all of these conditions and they are well documented with several unsolicited VA Doc nexus opinions that they were caused by my antalgic gait.. So in September I applied for disablilty ratings for the hips, back and right knee secondary to my left knee as well as TDIU. I had my original QTC exam three weeks ago which was for my left knee. When I was being examined the Dr said she would go ahead and check out the secondary claimed disab…

Fee Base For Housebound?
Can I get some fee base services based on being housebound. I find it very hard to gain access to certain service the VAMC offers because of being housebound SMC "S". Before I got "S" and asked for things like PT and other services off campus (VAMC) the VA told me I lived too close. Should I see a VA social worker? Getting actual access to my hospital is hell.

E-Benefits Update
Does anyone know who to contact to get my e-benefits information updated? I have called the number on the e-benefits site and was told that the RO is responsible for updating the information on my claims(which makes sense). I called the 800# to inquire about this and to find out when they would be updating my information, which is over a year old and was told that they don't have anything to do with the e-benefits site and should contact them. WTH!!!! I told them what the e-benefits site rep said and he insisted that they were wrong. I got the feeling that he had NO idea what he was talking about and only wanted to sound as if he did. I had to drive over 2 hou…

Mental Health C&p Secondary Sc For Depression
I filed for depression or other mental/psychological disorder secondary to my chronic lumbar strain with DDD, etc. The C&P exam by a psychologist seemed to go well enough. She ended up deciding that in addition to Dysthymic D/O (long term depression) that I also have Chronic Pain D/O, with a GAF of 50 and says it affects my productivity and reliability. However, I think the opinion part pulls the rug out from under me. On the first read, I thought I had it made, but then I read it again. Depression definitely got worse since then LOL. Here's what it says (I eliminated a lot of trivial stuff).. Does this sound as bad as I think as far as getting SC? A STAN…

Hearing Test I Did Not Ask For
QTC called and told me they have set up two appointments for my claim. One for my DDD and rediculopathy and one for a hearing test. Three years ago I found out I could get hearing aid from the VA and applied for them. I received an exam and was given two aids. I never made a claim for compensation for hearing loss with the VA. I can not remember making any reference to my hearing loss in my statements for a claim for IHD due to AO and DDD with rediculopathy. Anyone have any ideas why they would send me for a hearing test?
