ptsd 2Nd C&p For Ptsd
Hi All, Need some advise from my brothers and sisters. In March this year I received my award letter, 70% PTSD, 10% hearing and 10% tinnitus, part of the text in the award letter recommended I apply for IU due to certain statements included in my PTSD exam results by the examining MD regarding my past employment problems; I had 15 different employers between 2003 and 2008. The VARO ordered a second C&P for both hearing and PTSD. Audio examiner told me severe loss right ear and profound loss left ear, thats a positive. The PTSD C&P is scheduled 12/02/10 and is with a civilian MD not a VA examiner. Why would they order this with a civilian MD? There will be e…

I have had several C&P exams of late. Are the results of these exams ever entered into my Medical Record at the VA clinic so my doctor can review them. If not how do I get the results entered into my VA medical record?

Can Information Be Added After The C&p Exam?
I forgot to tell the doctor some of my side effects while I was having my exam last week. IS there a form or addendum I can send in to be considered with the exam. I was a bit rattled when I went in as well as the fact that I didn't have my side effects written down to present. Considering one of my side effects is short term memory loss is one of the main one's, you would think I would have made a list to take with me. Thanks! Juan

ptsd C&p Exam Contradicts Matters Of Record
Hello All, I received a copy of my C&P and it blows my mind!! The doctor had asked very little questions, none seemed pertinent, but he sure came up with a lot of answers, without any true knowledge, nor an apparent true review of the file, even though he notes he did a review of it. Additionally, he did not concede the PTSD, even though it is one of the reasons for my ongoing treatment outside of the VA. What really bothers me is that he put so much erroneous information in the exam report, it almost seems as if falsifying information, to make it all fit. For example, I have not worked since 2000, receiving SSA disability, but he notes "Employment: time lost f…

ptsd Ptsd C& P Exams And Medical Records To Take With You
Let me start with the fact that my husband is in a individual 12 week coginitive therapy PTSD Program with our local VA CBOC. This claims applies to claims and also C & P Exams, so I was not sure where to post it. 10/18/10- Faxed form 21-0781- Statement in Support of Claim for Service Connection for PTSD to DAV(who is right next door to our regional office for claims. They walk it over and get it stamped then.10/26/10- Received a letter from VA that they received his application for benefits. They said that with the great number of claims, action may be delayed. They went on to say that they are in the process of deciding whether additional evi…

Very Quick And Simple Question
Hi Everyone, I am going to the VA tomorrow for a C&P Exam, and while I'm out there I wanted to get an account so I would be able to check my claim status online. I know this is possible, although I don't remember what the website or program name is. I really want to get this done tomorrow, as I live 2 hours away from the closest VARO clinic, and I hate driving in all of this snow. My big question is what is the name of it, and where would I go in the VA to request this be done, and what do I need to bring with me? Thank you all in advance for the advice and help!

ptsd Going In For Migraines On Thursday The 16Th
Hi Everyone. I have been waiting for my TDIU claim that was filed in June of this year to finally go through. It seems they've been drawing it out longer and longer. Now I just recieved a phone call from the VA to schedule a C&P for my migraines. It sounds like they're trying to see if it's service connected by linking it with an IED explosion that I responded to. I was a ways away, but saw this explosion happen just after the truck passed us on a bridge as we were pulling an OP on a highway. My question is, how can I link my migraines to this? My migraines seem to occur more frequently when I am having a high stress day, or a day when I have a panic attack. I …

My C&p Exam
Something just dawned upon me. After, my General Medical Exam was completed, I ask the Doctor if he was going to check my back. He said no, since it was not listed as part of the exam requirements, but would make a note of it. But, why did he have me attempt to bend forward, backward and to the sides. He also had me attempt to raise my arms. I got a partial result of my exam, and it indicates the I have Osteoarthritis of the Thoracic Spine. Did he exam my back, or was he doing another exam? The wait is killing me, and it has just started. Maybe, I should file for anxiety due to the Va taking so long. Papa

ptsd Had My C&p Exams Now I Am Lost...
I have filed a claim with a VSO for some primary and secondary issues in the spring. In September I had 3 C&P exams --hearing, ptsd and my ankle but that did not cover all the claims that I filed for such as GI (stomach) issues. After my 3 c and p exams were completed I never had anymore scheduled. I have not been seen for my stomach issues or my back at this point. I have called the 1 800 number to check the status of my claim and I was told that it has been at the rating board since mid October. This confuses the heck out of me for two main reasons ... 1. I was told that after the c and p exams that it only should take like 30 days or so to hear something and 2. How…
