Partial C&p Results
On another post I indicated that I got a letter from QTC where I should contact my Private Doctor ASAP since my blood test showed my Platelets were low. However, they also gave me information about my chest X-Rays, it showed mild cardiomegaly with minimal central congestion. Is not IHD a cause of cardiomegaly? I also showed moderate osteoarthritis involving the Thoracic spine diffusely. Could this not be caused by a sports injury? I was severely injured in a baseball game, and I did put in a claim for it back in the 1970s. I was denied because the VA said the injury never happened, and my AL service officer said if it is not there it is not there, and plus I was nei…

Distrubing Letter From Qtc
I received a letter from QTC today that has me very upset. The letter states, "The following findings deom your recent C&P medical evaluation is being provided for you information and should be addressed by your own Physician." It goes on to list Urine Test, EKG, Blood Work (Checked), X-Ray Chest (Checked). Then in Big Bold letters it states, "Although this testing was performed for the purpose of rating your VA claim, it is important you seek medical follow-up with your own physician." QTC then regrets that this is the only information they can provide. QTC then tells me to call the 1-800-827-1000 number for more information. I usually have pretty goood luck, b…

Moving Forward
Things are slow but they are moving I got my C&P for Psuedo and the examiner stated "This Veteran has documentation of problems in the service with pseudofolliculitis barbae and had a shaving profile the majority of his military career. It is at least as likely as not that the pseudofolliculitis barbae began with the chronic pseudofolliculitis barbae treated in military service". I think I am in good shape with this one.

Hello everyone: Where to start? .... I have a history of depression going back to 1999. Major depression and feelings of wanting to commit suicide in 99, 04/05, and as recently as January 2010. I spent 2 years researching and planning walking away from what i considered and still consider the waste of effort to work for a "living". Being from michigan i was working so i could keep gas in my car and paying the bills but not getting anywhere as it was hard to stay …

Bending And Motion C&p
When I went through my C&P the Doctor had me go through all these bending motions, and I did not do very well. He also noted that I had a problem dressing with just a chair. But, the funny thing is that he said he was not scheduled to examine my back. Was he checking for something else? Papa

Husband To Go To C&p
My husband was in the coast guard. While there stationed in alaska at a one man station, there was one other personnel there who made a mistake and blew the battery up in my husband face. They had to stay there for a month until picked up by a hop. The only thing that was done was flush his eyes out with water. That was in 1982. In 2007 his retna was completely ripped. They asked what injury did he get to his eye. He is now blind in one eye, getting social security, depressed like crazy, leaves for long walks to nowhere, etc... We told them, he applied, was denied, but now is scheduled for a C&P exam. What's going on? Did they approve him? Did they make a mi…

Echo Test Done
I had the last part of my General Medical Examine done today with an ECHO Test. The Sonographer placed the electrodes on and started the exam, when all of a sudden one of the electrodes fell off. He had to find another one and had a hard time attaching it. Once attached he said, "Where was I?" That scares me. Papa

tdiu C&p Results For Tdiu
I just got my results back from my C&P exams for TDIU. 1. Migraine Headaches 2. Degenerative Disc Disease Doctors Employ Opinion: It is at least as likely as not that the veterans service connected disabilities would negatively impact his ability to obtain/ maintain gainful employment. Veterans DDD cervical spine and headaches are severe. Veterans neck condition would prevent him form doing any heavy physical work, repetative lifting, or a job that requires pepetative bending of the neck. The severe headaches would prevent any useful employment. He gets at least two bad headaches each week requiring bed rest all day due to pain, nausea, and emesis. I have SS…

Nervous They Will Lower My Rating
According to my award letter from 2008, I have an exam in November. I am really nervous the VA will try to lower my rating. I'm currently rated at 70%. My symptoms have gotten worse overtime. The only change since then is I told my doctor last week that the meds was helping a little bit. I still haven't worked since 2008. Do they lower ratings often? it says on my last reward letter that my rating was temporary. The doctor also made comment during my eval in 2008 that he thought I was on the wrong meds. I hope they dont use the new medicine as a way to lower my rating. My representative said since this is my third exam in 5 years, it makes me percentage permanent this tim…
